Football player tosses a piece of rubbish off the field. Turns out it was a live explosive.

Great read. This World Cup run definitely changed some perceptions of the USMNT and the fans. Can't wait for 2018.
You can no longer make the argument that Americans don't 'get' football, and it's time to stop being patronising, writes Richard Beech

Quite Possibly The Most Beautiful Sunset I've Ever Seen | Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado

Cliff and I are back from a truly amazing road trip to New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. This scene was the last sunset we photographed on our trip and it was such an awesome way to top it all off.

The road to GSD is a straight as can be road leading right toward the park. I watched these crazy lenticular clouds forming over the Sangre de Cristo mountain range and was just praying they would stick around for sunset. Every mile we drove things just started to look better and better and when we finally got to a place to park, we both hit the ground running.

The snow in the foreground is from the currently frozen Medano Creek. It was around 6-12 inches deep at certain parts making for a pretty tough walk across to the dunes. The dunes at GSD are up 700 ft tall which just totally dwarfs the dunes you will find at places like White Sands in New Mexico or Mesquite Flat in Death Valley.

I have plenty more images from this sunset to share, including a massive pano I made that turned out really great. Can't wait!

Post processing was all done in Lightroom and Photoshop. Used one exposure for the foreground and another for the sky, blending them together using luminosity masks in PS.

Had a great experience with Southwest. Jason Ward was very helpful the whole way and helped me settle on a great car at a great price. He was very helpful during the the paperwork process and helped me land on a great payment. Everyone I worked with was great and made sure that everything was fully explained before I signed off on anything. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car, and if I happen to be back in the market for another one, they'll be the first place I go.
