This is the best place to go to for any Apple related repairs or even queries. The technicians over there are always helpful and knowledgeable. Just awesome customer service and user's experience. Until just now, when I dropped by the store and found that they no longer operate at the back of the building. It's all incorporated into one shop, where they used to sell the Apple's hardware. With new management team, they now have a new business model in dealing with customers with technical/repair issues. No longer you can just drop by the service centre, had a chat with the technician about your problems and get the solutions plus the estimated cost straight away. It's way too tedious nowadays to send your stuff for repair. You actually have to send in your notebook or whatever, then the technician will evaluate what is wrong with it and you have to wait for 3 to 4 days for them to ring you and give you the answer (p.s. they still have to evaluate any repairs requested, despite the fact that you might know what is wrong with your machine and what type of replacement parts your looking for!). Plus they have a new pricing structure - nowadays they have the evaluation fee, then the labour cost on top of whatever you have to replace or repair for your notebook. Very pricey.... I guessed, I won't be going to the service centre anymore. Such a shame since I live nearby. Hmmmmm...

These guy's were fantastic to deal with. I took in a MacBook Pro late 2011 that had suffered from a known manufacturing defect that occurred within the logic board. The staff I spoke to quickly diagnosed the problem and knew exactly what they were talking about. The repair time turnaround was very swift and my mac is running as well as it did when I first paid for it. I am aware there are some negative reviews for these guys but for the life of me I can't see how it is deserved.

Took my Macbook Air 11" into the Mac Centre on Monday. Miro and his team were just brilliant! Not only did he and his team propose solutions to my problems, they also analysed and confirmed other things that even the Apple Stores (Broadway AND Sydney CBD) were unable to! Two days later, my laptop is fixed, and this customer could not be any happier! Milo and his team could not have been any more professional and courteous. And they knew things even the Apple Stores' staff did not! I cannot sing Mac Centre's praises enough.

I am writing this note of appreciation for the outstanding customer service provided by two technicians on 08/05/2015 and 13/05/2015 at Mac Center, Commonwealth Street, Surrey Hills. I was attended by Francis and Ben, working as the technical support in this branch and their service was exceeded my expectations.

I used to deal with another highly regarded Apple service provider (Powermedia) in Surry Hills up until a year ago when they suddenly stopped supporting Apple, In despair I turned to several of Apples retail stores for service support but they are just not geared up for the business professional. Even with an appointment the queues at Apple were frustrating and their repair times would regularly run out to 3 weeks which was painful:(. Fast forward 10 months and to my delight I discovered that all the top senior crew from my previous service provider had joined Mac Centre in Surry Hills ! I can't tell you how relieved I am, the team here are guns, extremely knowledgable and efficient, In most cases they can repair my Macs within 3 days, not 3 weeks and it's done right !

Took my mac book pro it into these guys and felt that the advice and initial consultation was good and so felt comfortable leaving my computer, which i love, with these guys. My opinion quickly changed and I was bitterly disappointed to receive my mac back, with the original issue fixed but with new dents and scratches. I am positive they were not there before i put it in for repair and it was also the first thing i noticed when i got it back. I take care of my mac and its an expensive piece of equipment that i think i would notice had a dropped it and put dents in it. When i went in to complain, I was told that the screen needed realignment, which is the sign of the mac being dropped. This is not why i took my mac in for service so why did it become a new issue? i was also told its my word against there's. This is true, but really this how you deal with the complaint - Wow! Only other advice was that this won't be covered under warranty, but i can take it up with Apple or go through my insurance. Feeling truly frustrated and now my mac which is only about a year old has been cosmetically damaged. Who knows what else will fail mechanically later on as it seems to have been dropped - not by me! I would recommend to take a photo and know your laptop/device well, before taking it in to this or any service centre.

Poor communication, failure to take responsibility for their service issues. Complained to Apple Store. Will go elsewhere in the future.
