When Google+ collections became available a while ago I, like many others, made a few collections to categorize my posts. In the Google+ App I also see Google making recommendations for collections from various people and I'm getting the feeling that my "Science & Tech" collection might be shown there for some as well.

Because I've been getting a lot of new followers on that specific collection. But I can't verify if it's true. (If you can with a screenshot or anything, do let me know!)

Whether it's showing up as recommended or not, either way; I hope you'll all enjoy the things I'm sharing in it!

Science gives us numerous wonderful things. Like these photo's of a sunset on Mars:
Long before Curiosity's landing, the description of the color camera made me dream: I imagined what wonderful pictures we could get of sunsets and sunrises on Mars. They finally came on sol 956, the 15th of April, 2015.

The Philae comet lander has reawakened!

Breaking news! #wakeupPhilae
Tweet Rosetta's lander Philae is out of hibernation! The signals were received at ESA's European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt at 22:28 CEST on 13 June. More than 300 data packets have been analysed by the teams at the Lander Control Center at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). "Philae is doing very well: It has an operating temperature of -35ºC and has 24 Watts available," explains DLR Philae Project Manager Dr. Stephan Ulamec. "The lande...

The ape-like RoboSimian robot, developed at +NASA's JPL, is doing some pretty amazing stuff. Like driving on the side of a vehicle through a slalom course and then exiting the vehicle. Can you hear the Terminator voice already? ^^

Freelance graphic designer for music
Introduction
Full-time freelance graphic designer for music (and a bit of a web specialist too).

First and foremost a freelance designer for record labels, bands and solo musicians. As a graphic designer I am specialized in — but not limited to — design for music. Which has always been one of my passions.

Aside from that passion I still actively employ my years of working experience as all-round web specialist to create effective websites. From strategy to design, development and optimization. Including online marketing and SEO.

Over the years I've become good at both. My specialization, however, lies in design for music. Which was born from a personal ambition; music has always been very important to me as a person and I think it’s fantastic being able to contribute with everything visual surrounding it. In print and on the web.

Music and its design (should) form a whole.
Music is one part of the presentation and its artwork is the other part, they’re not separate things. That’s why I strive to create unique graphic designs that are unified with their music, to ensure that the image is a visual representation of that music.

It should be beautiful and fitting.

Are you performing in a band, or as a solo musician?
