You probably spent 4 minutes deciding what to wear today. Would you spend the same amount of time learning about a crime that is affecting 20.9 people around the world?

We’re supporting migrant workers’ rights through promoting a more positive image. Watch the #migrationworks PSA to learn more.
A poor understanding of who migrant workers are and why they are in the country is a problem in Malaysia, and contributes to a situation where these issues persist.

Did you know? 41% of the world’s domestic workers, 21.5 million people are employed in the Asia-Pacific region.

Today we will be supporting #DomesticWorkers Day! Read more to find out about today and how YOU can take action to improve the lives of domestic workers.

Two months ago, a 23-year old domestic worker from a little-known Indonesian city was named as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People. Erwiana Sulistyaningsih was recognised alongside presidents and pop stars for what she didn’t do — Ms Erwiana didn’t stay silent.

Fight human trafficking and put an end to modern slavery - MTV EXIT
Introduction
MTV EXIT is a campaign fighting human trafficking and exploitation by raising awareness, promoting positive behaviour change and driving social action.

Harnessing the power of the MTV brand, MTV EXIT has one vision: to help end human trafficking through the design and implementation of innovative campaigns that equip young people to make informed, empowered decisions.

With the support of AusAID and USAID, MTV EXIT works closely with key stakeholders and influencers across the globe, including international and local celebrities, media and corporate partners, anti-trafficking and youth organisations, government agencies and young people to create targeted campaigns that promote safe migration, and encourage communities to take social action.
