The Tigers stayed unbeaten by taking down the Rays Tuesday. Are they the team to beat in the AL? http://atmlb.com/IfmX7S

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the rays were supposed to win.

Unfortunately, I think they are...

in spring training i had the tigers winning the world series theyre gonna

wat was the score of the game 2day

Not the "team to beat" until they actually accomplish something of merit. Winning a few in a row does not constitute becoming the "team to beat."

Win your division or the AL and then you can become the "team to beat."

+Jason T a 15-5 loss in game 6 of the ALCS is showing the world? Seems like a weak demonstration.

Will always be a Tigers fan and can not wait to head to Detroit to watch them play ball. It is nice to follow your team during good and bad seasons and finally watch them play well!!!!!

Never said the Sox were the team to beat. They aren't. Simply saying it takes more than a winning streak to become the team to beat.

Yep.
1) Tigers
2) Angels
3) Rays
4) Rangers
5) Yankees

Tigers are looking great right now. I'd love to see another 35-5 season start! Go Tigers!

Wow. Go Tigers! Keep it going!

If they stay healthy over the long season you will see them in the playoffs and a lock to win the Central - not discounting the Angels, Rangers in the west and the Yanks, Rays and Red Sox in the East

Incredible game today. Not sure yet if they are the team to beat...but they are certainly looking strong and cohesive! GO TIGERS!!!

Let's see how they play on the road first.

just too early to say if they are the legit team to beat in the East.

Already looking like a force... but 158 games left... :)

I'm a Yankee fan and I have to agree with +Art Boulet, let them win something before they are crowned the team to beat. Right now, that is still the Rangers.

The tigers are not only the best team in the central division, they are not only the best team in the American League but the best team in all of major league baseball last year they proved they were the real deal and now with a power house and leader like Prince Feilder added they can take there ability into October and take down all comers.

Oh and just think next year Victor Martinez is back!
