no I see your finger, let me find a place on your body and show you how to install it.. 8D

i don't see it on the original post but i see it on this one and the last test post.

Secretly, Google includes finger recognition along with face recognition.

Well.. I'm horribly offended, especially in this whimsical season of goodwill and frivolity. Offended I say!

Thumbnail isn't showing up for me but I can see it on your profile page.

Now you are in the Mike Arrington finger club :-)

It is a finger... no, it's an eff eue... no wait, it's both!

There's a an odd pause, and then you, and said finger, appear.

So how far did you have that finger inserted?, and can you smell it from it's current position?

I see the picture now, and on your profile page, just not as your profile in the stream.

Of course, the fault may not belong to Google. Someone could easily use the Report Abuse feature.

people still do that?........

This is only a test. Not necessary, but hopefully only a test. Are we testing censorship limits or common sense here?

As the first point of interaction with a user's profile, all profile photos on Google+ are reviewed to make sure they are in line with our User Content and Conduct Policy. Our policy page states, "Your Profile Picture cannot include mature or offensive content." Your profile photo was taken down as a violation of this policy. If you have further questions about the policies on Google+ you can visit http://www.google.com/intl/en/+/policy/content.html, or click the "Content Policy" link located in the footer of Google+ pages.

It's not a bad move on Google's part. Stupid behavior should be taken down. I guess if offending your fan base is cool, then lovely.

+Del Williams I think that by censoring that pic, they're offending the intelligence of the majority of Google+ users.Google+ is user oriented right? Put the user first. I'm sorry it offended you, but I don't believe that it truly hurt you in any way. It was not directed specifically at you. I believe in freedom of expression as long as it doesn't directly harm someone. I would rather someone be true to their own character and possibly do something I may not agree with than deal
with censorship.

If the "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate" recognition is indeed in place on all photos posted to G+, as it surely must, (who's job would it be of scanning every profile picture, millions of new ones every week?) then, maybe if you invert your original photo. Flip it over and see what happens.

On retrospect, more than likely someone reported your photo. Some right-wing, ultra-con, god fearing G+ rat.

this is how bad the new google results are. Today, I randomly searched for "test" in Google to see if they were in blackout mode like Wikipedia. They aren't, of course, but your post showed up 2nd in my search results and you aren't even in my circles. They are ruining their relevancy...
