TERRIBLE! The 1st time I took of the cap to clean the pipes was very difficult & took 15 to 30 minutes. The 2nd time was even harder. This time I couldn't remove it, probably bent some of the parts, AND I cut up my hands on the thin metal. You better wear gloves! The cap connection is a very tight snap on. STUPID! It would be better to simply have a screw-on or a drop-down grove and twist to lock connection. I think Simpson's designer was named Homer. Doh! uck you Simpson.
