It's a flagship camera shootout! f you're curious how well the cameras compare on the Samsung Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9, and the Apple iPhone, I took all three handsets around San Francisco to find out which camera is better.

Motorola's second-gen Moto X is ace, and the fact that you can customize its design is the huge cherry on top. Check out my review on CNET.
The Motorola Moto X hits all the right notes, delivering stock Android inside a powerful high-end handset that users can customize themselves.

I talk with Monotyoe's Steve Matteson about what wearables mean for typeface designers. Hint: It's not as easy as simply shrinking down the font size.
CNET spoke with Monotype's creative type director, Steve Matteson, to discuss the challenges of designing fonts for ultra-small user interfaces, including wearables.

Here's CNET's review of the unlocked Google Nexus 5 (written by yours truly) in case you missed it. It features Android 4.4 KitKat, a Snapdragon 800 processor, and LTE. What do you think, are you guys going to get it?
Google takes its flagship gloves off and makes its Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat the unlocked handset to beat.

I interviewed The Oatmeal's Matthew Inman about the insanely popular Exploding Kittens card game that is blowing up (pun not intended) on Kickstarter right now ($3.5million in 3 days!). Here Inman discusses one idea that was too raunchy to make the NSFW deck. (Full story here: http://cnet.co/1Ep48iS)

The jury's in! Here's what CNET thinks of the massive Google Nexus 6 flagship.
Although the Google Nexus 6 trails the slimmer Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in processor performance and native productivity features, it's still the most powerful pure Android handset available and the largest Nexus to this point.

What do you think smartphones will look like and feature in the future? I take a gander about the tech that's possible. (No, you won't find any hologram calls and translucent screens here.)
Think handsets have hit an innovative plateau? With a little imagination (and some wishful thinking), CNET explores what smartphones might look like in the not-so-distant future.

Need a hardy lunchtime read? Check out my feature, which dives into why we (fanboys and trolls included) get so nutty about our smartphones.

Wherein I spend my day reviewing this glorious game and cram as many Erasure references as I can in one single caption. Sometimes work is hard.
