While researching my Sunday column on Black Dog/Cat Syndrome in area animal shelters  (http://bit.ly/1ilP2kS - to read the column) I learned that Carl Bromberg of Visions Photography is offering professional pet photo shoots today with part of the proceeds to benefit the Cedar Valley Humane Society. You'll need to phone today after the humane society opens at noon to reserve a spot; shoots take place between 2-5 p.m.
