Social activists from "Homes Not Spikes" staged a peaceful demonstration outside 6 Agar Street in London where homeless spikes are in evidence to prevent rough sleeping in the vicinity. Building owners Legal & General were not prepared to comment.

It has to be said, on this occasion the Metropolitan Police were quite heavy handed - and this event did no good for their public image in my opinion.

A fracas erupted after the union solidarity protest at Trafalgar Square, London, when a woman fell from the plinth injuring herself. Her friend went to her aid, a fracas ensued and the friend was arrested for public order offences, causing outrage.

The Thames Valley Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses held their final hustings session at the Holiday Inn Reading South on 30 April 2015. The topic of the "three E's" took precedence on the night - education, Europe and easing.

I really hope this chap manages to get his name cleared and sort out the red tape which seems to be in abundance which is blacklisting him in the engineering industry once and for all.
Widnes man John Marshall today resumed his campaign to seek his name being cleared opposite 10 Downing Street in London as allegations of data protection breaches and blacklisting were abound. Derek Twigg, his former MP, has failed to assist.

Hecklers at the Bracknell hustings left Conservative candidate Dr Philip Lee impossible, on occasion, to answer some of the questions. Dr Lee is defending a 15,000 majority, though UKIP had a strong support contingent at the event at Kerith Church.
