Advice needed- some elem. intermediate students new to GAFE are using docs for writing "notes" back and forth. Shocking :) I don't know more circumstances about class management or engagement or content within the docs or anything like that, but a question was raised, should we block them from using GAFE? This, to me, seems like a teachable moment in the making, helping them learn how to manage the use of the tool and use it constructively for their learning. However, if the issues persist, I know the teacher/admin will want to take measures to prevent it. Are there ways to limit the types of sharing permissions students have, so that they can only create their own new docs and/or share or access docs with the teacher? Thanks in advance for your thoughts/any advice on this one.
