I know many of you are enjoying these menu plans.  I love hearing that they are providing inspiration and ideas for your own meals! There is a good possibility that you are throwing out "old" food that you could actually use! Do you save money and reduce food waste by using any of these "old" foods? What other ways do you save food that would otherwise be thrown out?
Implement these creative ways to reduce food waste and use foods that you probably normally throw out. And in the process you'll save money too!

Wanting ideas on how to dress your kid's well without blowing your tight budget? Here are 4 things that I have found super helpful to save money on our kid's clothing!
Kid’s grow so fast, and sometimes it can feel like every time you turn around, you are needing to buy more clothes for them.  As moms, we all want to dress our kid’s nicely and make sure they have cute things to wear.  But for most of us, money is also a factor and...Read More »

Do like to earn cash back for the shopping that you do online? I definitely do! And I recently discovered Giving Assistant, a company that actually lets you donate all or part of the cash back you earn. Of course you can keep it all for yourself too, but if you enjoy giving, this is a super easy way to do it!

In an effort to stay sane and also save time, over the past year I started doing a lot more online shopping.  (Taking 3 kids clothes shopping...Read More »

This week I share a money saving tip that could help you save significantly (something I was reminded of again when I bought a bunch of snack cups), how my grocery shopping actually earned me $14 and what I often make for a quick Sunday lunch. #budget #grocerysavings
Some of you have wondered where I get my printable coupons. Here are the main coupon sites that I use: Coupons.com, Smart Source, Red Plum, Ibotta, Snap, Hopster, Checkout 51 and Saving Star.  Manufacturer websites and Facebook pages are another great source. If you are new here and unfamiliar with my weekly What I Spent & Saved posts, it probably is helpful to understand...Read More »
