Enjoyed my first Menu Plan? Here's post #2 showing you what we ate for the last two weeks on a $200 grocery budget!
When I posted my first Menu Plan, I kind of figured it would attract some interest because I know people are always intrigued with how frugal people eat and live.  But I was totally amazed that it got over 10,400 pageviews in just two weeks time!  I guess people really are intrigued!   Here’s my second...Read More »

I enjoy doing my weekly What I Spent & Saved on our $200 Grocery Budget posts. But there has been something that has always bothered me about them....  #grocerybudget
Even though they are kind of a lot of work to write up, I enjoy sharing my Our $200 Grocery Budget: What I Spent & Saved this Week posts with you all each week.  I don’t do these posts because I think the way I shop and live is that amazing, I do them because...Read More »

I used to think that making French bread would be difficult, but it really, truly isn't! And who doesn't love a slice of fresh soft, crusty bread? Skip the store and make your own for just a fraction of the cost! #bread
This easy to make French bread is perfectly soft with a deliciously chewy crust! Plus it will cost a fraction of what you pay for an already made loaf.

Have you wondered just what exactly we eat on our $200/mo. grocery budget?  Well, here's your chance to see what we ate the last 2 weeks.  I'm curious what you think- could you eat our meals?  Or does it look drastically different than the way you are used to eating?

I’ve found that a lot of people are really curious to know just what exactly we eat on our $200/mo. grocery budget.  I mean, do we mainly consume rice and beans with the occasional side of chicken?  Or can we actually eat rather normally?  Maybe you won’t consider our menu plan normal, but I think...Read More »

Wow, this week was a crazy good week of saving while grocery shopping- I actually made $16.95! And I know some people think that deal shopping only works if you buy unhealthy food, but I think this week's purchases prove otherwise. (Note: I admittedly did purchase some things that aren't super healthy too, but note all the stuff that is.)   #frugalliving   #budget

Oh my, this week's shopping trip was just frustrating. Yes, even those of us that regularly deal shop have bad weeks. And you might be surprised why I don't use Cool Whip. (hint: it has to do with money) Also, I was super blessed to get great quality ground beef for just $1/lb.!   #grocerybudget   #frugalliving
