God in All Things -By Meister Eckhart Apprehend God in all things, for God is in all things. Every single creature is full of God and is a book about God. Every creature is a word of God. If I spent enough time with the tiniest creature– even a caterpillar– I would never have to prepare a sermon. So full of God is every creature.

"Open your imagination to the divine stories of the Bible and the world stands a better chance of becoming a sacred place, if only because you are out there acting like it is." -- Barbara Brown Taylor

"I urge all of us to spend a day in repentance and mourning. And then we need to get to work. Each of us and all of us need to examine ourselves, our church and our communities. We need to be honest about the reality of racism within us and around us. We need to talk and we need to listen, but we also need to act. No stereotype or racial slur is justified. Speak out against inequity. Look with newly opened eyes at the many subtle and overt ways that we and our communities see people of color as being of less worth. Above all pray – for insight, for forgiveness, for courage." — Bishop Elizabeth Eaton

Note from Arnold & Irma Wuertz to John Braum. She said it well! "We wish for you both to know that we truly appreciated all of the work you put into making the Organ Dedication service so very meaningful and well understood. We heard many favorable comments about specific happenings of the day. We have met a number of folks who did not attend the service, for whatever reason. They were sad that they missed the service when they heard what a great service it was. So we explained that they could visit Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on any Sunday and they would have an opportunity to hear the organ played by a very able organist. So thank you, again for the gift to LCR of the wonderful organ AND for the well planned Dedication Service. It was a joy to be there!"
