Nintendo + Apple = the perfect chance to enter the mobile market

This is pure speculation as I am not an industry insider or employee of Nintendo of America.

Nintendo announced over the weekend coinciding with the Wii U Deluxe price drop of $50 to $299 on September 20th a change to the title of their Wii U Facebook page.  The new page will be called Nintendo Console Gaming.

Many have speculated this was done to combine both the Wii (over 6 million likes) with Wii U (not even 1 million) but I think it could be much bigger than that.

This morning Nintendo was removed from the Nikkei (for all you non-financial gurus = stock exchange in Tokyo) and shares have dropped to an all time low.  This holiday season they definitely have some stellar titles I'm excited about including Super Mario Bros 3D land and Donkey Kong's debut on Wii U but the company needs something bigger.

Does the change hint Nintendo maybe part of Apple's September event which is why it was done prior to Tuesday?  Could the debut of Mario on mobile be arriving?  I know Nintendo's 3DS is doing extremely well but Nintendo certainly could be filling their pockets with additional revenue from game downloads on other app stores.  Could Apple's App Store be the beginning?  Never say never.

+Luke Sandoval Yeah, I read that.  Nintendo and Blackberry have pretty different business models though, so I don't think the comparison makes much sense.

Agreed... As much as I didn't like the song at first it's kind of growing on me.  That and the fact that when he says he's going back to straight hip hop someone dons a Beastie Boy/Run DMC T-Shirt #eminem   #eminemberzerk

Last night we had it and it was delicious (our third time ordering). Little Caesars is not even on the same par as Cottage Inn, more like a Jet's or Hungry Howies. If you like specialty pizzas, they have plenty to choose from. We picked up a traditional veggie pizza and a cheese/pepperoni ($18.99 special). Wish we could have had more. Delivery was reasonable at $2.00 as other places charge $3.00 and higher. A note to whoever does their online ordering, just because I don't want to leave a tip BEFORE I get the pizza on my credit card doesn't mean I don't want to when you deliver my pizza. Felt horrible having to let the driver go and not give him a tip but I did not have any cash on me.

Best Little Caesars in Northern Macomb County, don't go anywhere else. Consistantly tasty and at $5 you can't go wrong!

Love the crust, amazing since they've changed it. Just tried the bread bowls too, amazing.

When we first moved into our condo we wanted to grab our favorite pizza, Hungry Howie's. This location does a big disservice to the name. The pizza was overcooked and cold when it arrived. No sauce. Crust was burned. The manager said he could have someone remake my order however we had already waited almost an hour and 20 minutes with no apology when the person came to the door. He offered me 25% off our next order, seriously? I wouldn't feed the pizza to my dog if I had one. Needless to say we will not be ordering again from there. If you want Hungry Howie's, the location to go to is almost at 30 mile road and Van Dyke but worth the drive.

Round pizza terrible and greasy. Only go here for deep dish, if you want round go some place else. Overpriced for sure, see Kruse and Muer on Main in Rochester for almost identical prices and better pizza.

Best thai in the area hands down. Consistency from location to location is why we continue to visit Bangkok.
