After his starring role in this week's You Sank My Ship (WATCH IT NOW https://vimeo.com/119268242), Friedrich has decided to finish his... erm... autobiography.

So, first, either go and read it from the start here: http://www.lucypepper.com/friedrich/?comic=friedrich

Or go backwards, if you want, from here:
http://www.lucypepper.com/friedrich/?comic=f163

Or read this:
Previously on Friedrich...
In the beginning, we found Friedrich making something out of paper… it was a life-size Gretchen, the girlfriend he lost to a kitten in the middle of Maustoberfest. He was making things out of paper because his rat grandmother had said that paper and glue make everything better (no, no one knows where she dug that nugget up from). Gretchen was pregnant with their baby, Lenhart, when she was taken so cruelly, and so Friedrich is coping with a double loss.

He realises that paper and glue aren’t cathartic enough, but doesn’t know how to feel better… when a shadowy figure appears to him, Gunther, his new sensei. In the space of a morning, Gunther teaches Friedrich how to be a Musja.

Friedrich believes himself up to the job and goes into town to try to find answers… he can’t control his rage and beheads Otto, the kitten who took Gretchen. He realises that he didn’t get any information before the head came off, and discovers that a rabbit named Brümmstein had something to do with the whole thing. He seeks him out too… and before he asks a question, sees red and takes the head off the bunny too.

Full of regret, he throws himself off a very tall building, but luckily lands in a cheese, of the Azeitão variety… which is soft and buttery under its thin crust, so he was ok and ate himself out. Gunther was there and Friedrich gave him back the sword, feeling a bit silly. Gunther tells him to go ask more questions. Sans sword, this time.

Friedrich asks the residents of Mousebad and Animalstadt what they know, but they clam up and say nothing. He is about to give up, when he happens upon a very shiny mouse…. from the fuuuuuture, T1000. He DOES know things, he has come to find Friedrich!

He tells of a dystopian future where Mousebad and Animalstadt are under the rule of a terrible mouse, Hans, an evil overmouse, and he has come back from the fuuuuuuuuture to try and sort it out. Friedrich has shown up in their printout as “having something to do with it”.

And so, we return to the story, as T1000 and Friedrich try to work out what the hell this is all about…
and then start here: http://www.lucypepper.com/friedrich/?comic=f162

Simple, really....

Cowork Central is just a lovely place to be and to work. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and, at the same time, everyone is respectful of the fact that you're there to work, because they are too! The view across the river helps enormously for those moments when you just need to stare out of a window. The space is light, airy, clean and warm. I love going to work at Cowork when I'm fed up with the kitchen table. I highly recommend it.
