It sounds good.  However if it is so obviously a great idea why doesn't he throw his personality and money behind it?  I (as a transportation advocate) see this as just a stab at the California HSR project and not a serious proposal.

A must read for all #Architects. Seriously we have to make major changes to our licensure system. It is beyond broken and I would encourage all young professionals to boycott this system until it is simplified, made more affordable, and better represents what it means to practice in today's world.

AIA Portland, we should help lead the charge!

A designer, traveler, writer, artist, ultimate player, and co-owner of Propel Studio
Introduction
In my design work I explore the expression of natural light through forms derived from a rigorous study of materiality and structure. Seamlessly integrating my buildings into their surroundings, taking particular interest in the interaction with sun and wind patterns, drives my design process.

I am one of the co-owners of Propel Studio, an architecture firm based in Portland, Oregon. I also run the architecture blog www.talkitect.com
