After destroying a cathedral run by battle nuns (in their recursion) after one of their party ( who howl's at the moon in this recursion) turned into a rhino... the party needed to get back to Earth. More because when they reached the city they are working out of in this recursion they were told to get out of here. The sounds of a large battle started to sound close by and they just didn't have the energy left to fight in a huge battle.
In doing so, the spinner who normally eases the party, said to the new spinner, you ease us, since you have more intel than me and you aren't as taxed with your pools. That spinner forgot my house rule, that you have to remember details from the location that you want to go and she froze. So GM intrusion after they succeeded on the translation back to Earth... instead of the office they wanted to end up in, they were in the closet attached to a board room.
There were two spinners, a paradox and a vector all stuck in a board rooms closet, while there was a meeting going on. The meeting wasn't not a happy one either, as the "boss" was screaming about losing a lot of money in a merger.
Anyway, the spinner that messed up operates undercover, and disguised herself to get into the meeting with out being noticed. The idea was to distract everyone so the other three could leave. How does she pull that one?
She dressed like a man, and made herself out to be a man... she then says that her department has made over 20 million on a different venture and to celebrate, there are strippers down stairs. The vector, still in the closet, strips to his underwear, jumps out of the closet and yells, "WOOHOO STRIPPERS" and then starts partying boying out.
How did it end? Well the party was 5 people... they left one in the recursion. 2 of them, both spinners, make it out. the other 2, the paradox and party boying vector... they are on their way to jail.
So is my party screwed or what?
And they pay you. Money. To run games. It's almost like being a professional football player.
Now I know I need to have better questioning techniques to help really push the narrative. But overall, I feel I am comfortable enough with the Cypher System, that I can really hone those skills.
If you are a new GM and looking to run something using the #Cyphersystem, feel free to watch any of the videos, though I recomend the latest one. (Episode 17: Lies, Drunks and Everything in Between)
