  • Allsorts Youth Project
President and Trustee, 2012 - present
Allsorts Youth Project aims to support LGBT young people and to outreach in the local and wider community. Supporting to raise awareness, promote good practice and facilitate the creation of safer and more supportive environments. As a trustee, member of the management committee, and president I'll work to make sure Allsorts is youth focused and supporting working to make Brighton and Sussex a better and safer community. With my technological and graphical design knowledge I helped the project increase effectiveness and productivity, making campaigns more wide reaching and maximising the quality and potential of social networking.
  • TEDxSussexUniversity
Team Leader and Licensee Holder, 2012 - present
TEDxSussexUniversity is an independent TEDx community driven conference. It is a platform for like-minded, curious, bright and passionate thinkers, wanting to participate in a TED-like experience. The Sussex TED Society is a partnered with the event and runs multiple smaller scale unofficial events, trips and offical TEDx events during the academic year The role a Team leader, Society chair and Licencee Holder is very demanding and rewarding. Working with the team that run the Event in 2012 with no society, I formed and developed the society whilst continuing to support the TEDx event. The previous years team all left for new universities so I then recruited the new team for the event and starting committee for the society by myself. Over the course of the year I have helped establish a strong work ethic and structure to help the team and society to progress year on year. The society now has over 300 members within one term and the TEDxSussexUniversity event will be the largest and best
  • University of Sussex
    Math Tutor, 2012 - present
Working with the Widening Participation team at the University of Sussex trying to raise the attainment and the aspirations of students who typically experience barriers in education and would not usually consider continuing to university, despite evident potential. The maths tutors offer support and activities to students from Year 7 – Year 13 in their classes in school and days on Sussex Campus. Aiming to raise attainment levels for students showing potential whilst raising awareness and understanding with regards to higher education. The work varies with individual support, group activities and general class assistance but aims to give pupils additional support and encouragement from a different perspective.
  • Love Music Hate Homophobia
    Committee, 2010 - 2012
Leading National Steering Committee of the Love Music Hate Homophobia National Campaign. Helping set up and create a independent organisation, but retaining the associations and alliances with the founding organisations. Helping advise, support, organise and/or run events and campaigns locally, regionally and nationally.
  • Sakad
    Owner, 2009 - 2011
  • National Union of Students
LGBT Campaign Further Education Representative, 2010 - 2011
I am a representative for institutions which have Further Education students. One of my main tasks is to increase participation in both the campaign and their own student body. The solution I have found for this is a communication problem, mainly steaming from the vast number of Further Education institutions compared to Higher Education and the much higher turnover of students. To tackle this I have formed a comprehensive relationship database of institutions which individual contacts linked to them so that it is easier to remain in contact with key people and increase participation.
  • Alliance Boots
    Supervisor/Administrator, 2006 - 2010
Supervising and Administrating 15 staff on various shifts in the dock department of the Warehouse.
  • Bristol LGBT Forum
Treasurer, Trustee and Committee member, 2009 - 2010
As treasurer I was in charge of finances and the improvement of the financial system. I soon found the current excel system used was outed, bug ridden and not sufficient for such a large Charity. I suggested and implemented a new system, quicken which all staff where train on and are now using. The other issues I dealt with where the systems of paperwork and computer management, which I help refined, simplified and made much more technology advanced so that the forum could take advantage of the modern era without jeopardising its current membership's commitment. Since my time on the committee the membership has increased much higher than ever before with more diverse membership from across the age spectrum.
  • St Brendan's Sixth Form College
    LGBT Officer, 2008 - 2010
A representative and supportive officer to make sure those LGBT and questioning have equality in treatment and some to support them through college.

Zombie street game 2.8 Hours Later returns to London

Perfect for those seeking adrenaline-fuelled terror, street game 2.8 Hours Later invites players to spend the evening fleeing from hoards of ravenous zombies through eerily quarantined streets of London. Expect gore, and a genuinely terrifying Halloween you won't forget!

This is a lovely little place hidden away, but don't let the downstairs fool you, upstairs is much bigger with plenty of room! The quality of food was fantastic, very exotic and unusual but good all the time. I had the Salmon and it was superb and pancakes for afterword which were also delicious. Saw reindeer on the list, but I think I might not try that (poor magical reindeer =P). Also, try their larger, also fantastic!

Good service, expensive stuff. As you can expect from this big chain the stuff is really expensive, so out of my budget as a student, but the staff were really helpful and gave me a ski checklist which was rather useful. If I ever want get some quality stuff this is the place I will go!
