When we live in a country where the government itself says that there are those who are subject to criminal prosecution, and those who are not, the nation itself is at risk.

Please consider signing my petition - I need 150 signatures by 3/30 to get it visible to general search on the Whitehouse website.

A nice brew, aged in wine barrels. Would be interesting to see how it stands up to aging, but the bottle isn't sealed for it.

It's probably got some other peppers in it. It's amazing how despite that much "heat" you can taste plenty of flavour.

One more example of how our legal system can't keep up with technology. Privacy ultimately is the victim.

Odd as I'm always hitting the archive button in Gmail.

I love articles that challenge popular misconceptions, especially cultural ones.

Good to hear, Mike. I have little experience, especially compared to you!

Wow.  Rain.  More rain.  Flooding.  Hint of sunshine.  Rain again.

My house seems to be in a bubble of sanity surrounded by disaster.  Weather radar shows heavy rain again to the northwest - exactly where they don't need it.  Going to be an interesting ride...

Yeah, that's why the operative word there was 'might'.  ;)

This is exactly it. It's not a marketing problem. It's a shift in the marketplace. Me, I'm not complaining, except that i would argue that some competition and alternative solutions could only help.

Interesting. I know that I have made this mistake a few times, myself.

2700 beers to try, and a town car already booked to get us safely home. Life is good.

Performance tip - while graham, marshmallow, and chocolate work surprisingly well in a stout, maple and bacon are as horrifying as they sound.

Have been using Signature Cleaners for more than a decade. They have provided us with consistently great service, clean, well pressed clothes, and always timely delivery - delivered with a smile. I can't ask for anything more.

Have had a number of alterations performed by Saira, and they have consistently been done perfectly. The repairs she has done have lasted, without exception. Her prices are reasonable and the quality superb.

Had a cover up done of my first tattoo (a source of embarrassment for decades). I came with a couple of general ideas, but knowing that it was a cover up, and after looking at Adam's portfolio, I gave him a lot of creative room. I'm glad I did. We ended up going with a half-sleeve, and it is gorgeous. The staff there is great. Very friendly, clean, and meticulous about good sanitary technique - so many gloves are used during a session! I will be getting more work done, and this is the only place that I'd consider.

I had a really mean dentist when I was a kid. I still get pretty nervous going to the dentist, but I know I have to, and it's better to deal with going now than the results of not going. Dr. Sullivan has made going to the dentist a lot easier. She's really kind and gentle, and shows a lot of patience. What I also really like about her is that I can trust her. Instead of going with the most aggressive treatment that generates the highest fees, she works with me to make decisions about my care that make the most sense. We'll watch things that can wait, and get aggressive with other things so that I can avoid injections (which I particularly hate). I recommend her without hesitation.

Dining in France is consistently a pleasure - there are gems hidden everywhere. This restaurant is no exception. We had an excellent meal, and at a good price with the fixed menu. Of particular note, and what was my trigger for writing this review, was that this was the first restaurant we found that had a salad of substantial size, like something we would expect in the United States. My wife ordered one of the salads as part of the menu, and the salad alone was enough for a meal, and was quite delicious. The charcuterie assortment was also delightful. When I asked about one particular selection, the server provided me with a card for the purveyor. That was just one example of an extra touch that made the service above and beyond. Elne is a great town to visit, and when we return, we will certainly be back.
