Many of these jellyfish have a terrible sense of rhythm. They remind me of my brother dancing. They're cool too.

Thank you for everything you do, Dr. Lindsey Doe! This was amazingly informative and easy-going, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends with kids at the age of doing the first exam. Now if only you or someone does the same for prostate exams, that will be quite awesome for another demographics.

I can't believe what I have found today. Feeling proud and happy. Look at who signs the certificate. This was 42 years ago. My body still wonders people at discos haha.

That is awesome. It is great that you learned Ballet. I just saw the TV Series "Dance Academy" and believe it or not, is very similar. Many parents still doesn't want their sons to be dancers. Thankfully, now times are much easier for males to learn and practice.

Glad that your colleagues made it :)

Living in Angola per se is a great adventure. I am sure it was an incredible time too.

Thanks Luis, for sharing. And congratulations for trying and believing in you. Glad that you had great time in Academy.

Garbage is one of my favorite bands. "Only Happy When It Rains" is a great song but I feel there's not enough evolution or change in both arrangement and melodic lines within it, so what starts as a powerful song ends with a feeling of "this was a little bit too long and almost boring". Kawehi, the Hawaiian musician who is so unique I don't know if I should compare to Momus or Laurie Anderson or OK Go, has just released this cover and wow, this is how I realized the Garbage song is SO good. Amazing. I can't stop pushing the replay button.

I'm so happy I'm contributing to her most recent Kickstarter campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kawehi/interaktiv

I have no time to 30-minute videos on YouTube. If you know who Edward Snowden is, you can skip the first 5:49 minutes, you won't lose that much. If you think that is still too much of a time waste, then jump directly to the bit on Section 215 (10:35). Or jump directly to 13:39 and you'll be rewarded with an amazingly serious and funny interview that might single-handedly change America in the near future. I'm serious. And I'm still laughing.

Free online course, fundamental for anyone doing academic or journalism research.
I completed this course some 3 years ago and I strongly recommend it. I even considered doing it again, now that there's a new edition.

Curso gratuito essencial para quem faz pesquisa acadêmica ou jornalística.
Fiz este curso há três anos e recomendo vivamente. Fiquei até com vontade de fazer de novo, agora que há uma nova edição.

Well thought, well written, well edited video, as everything in "Every Frame a Painting", by Tony Zhou.
Here's what immediately popped in my head when Tony said "When I say a film is poetic…": poetic dialogue, meaning dialogue that 1. does not attempt to imitate life, 2. has a distinguishable musicality / prosody, and 3. conveys a message you, the viewer, probably wouldn't have thought that way.
I like your three views of what makes a film poetic. They totally make sense to me. Yet, I feel my immediate thought could be added too. I'm a script-writer by the way, so I'm sure I'm biased to pay a little more attention than other film makers or film viewers to text.

A new documentary about modern relationships and ways of rethinking monogamy is about to come. Click on the image to read a very well written article on the movie (trailer included).

The movie, Monogamish, is almost finished and is now on Kickstarter, in order to get funds to be properly promoted, marketed and distributed in festivals all over the world, as well as hopefully for mass distribution. It's been funded in circa 20K dollars that will allow it to be edited and post-produced, and yet another 20K, but what will be offered by the producers if the next goal is reached is really worth it! I have contributed already.
