Latent trigger points may persist for months, even years, before they become active trigger points. It is possible for latent trigger points to remain quiescent over one's lifetime. But the latent trigger point will still cause dysfunction, or prevent full motion and normal muscle strength.

Ignore flat feet and pronation in childhood and you are risking greater harm to the hips, knees. and lower back as an adult. Reduce your child's chances of needing hip and knee joint replacements as an adult with proper attention to their foot problems.

Did you know 15% of women over 50 yrs. of age have osteoporosis and it takes 40-50% bone loss to show-up on x-rays. Who's at risk: corticosteroid and prednisone users, COPD patients, smokers, excess caffeine consumers, hormone deficient (estrogen, testosterone, Vitamin D). Osteoporosis puts you at high risk for compression fractures that cause back pain. Know your bone density, consume adequate Vitamin D (sun exposure not dairy), perform weight-bearing exercise, don't smoke, avoid excess caffeine consumption.
