Been working on the website the last few days, refining things. With over 300 posts now it can get a little difficult to navigate. I've tried to simplify things as far navigation and wading through the archives goes. I've setup 5 main categories and each category has a simple lists of the related posts.

This year's snowbird adventures are drawing to a close. Spending the last couple days casino camping near Sequim, WA before grabbing the ferry back to Vancouver Island. Camped at 7 Cedars, free RV parking and not bad views outside the RV window. Anne loves the horses.

In-depth review of the weBoost Drive 4G-X RV cellular signal booster along with installation notes and video demo - http://www.loveyourrv.com/weboost-drive-4g-x-rv-cellular-booster-kit-review/

In the video, I install, demo and review the newly released weBoost Drive 4G-X RV cellular booster kit. The kit is designed specifically for boosting cell signals in RVs.

I also compare performance between various weBoost internal and external antennas. These include on the outside the OTR trucker, the new RV one, and the little mag mount. One the inside I compare the new 4G-X RV kit antenna, the large square white wall antenna, and the small square vehicle antenna.

Finally, after using the cell booster in numerous locations and signal strengths, I give my personal findings and likes and dislikes. For testing, I use a Huawei P9 smartphone on T-Mobile, a Verizon Jetpack MiFi Hotspot and a cheapie Tracfone.

Disclaimer: Although I've received no monetary compensation for my review, I did receive a free review sample of the Drive 4G-X RV courtesy of weBoost.com. Fair disclosure I have also signed up to be an affiliate earning a sales commission for referrals. – Ray

When passing through the Redwoods between Eureka and Crescent City on the northern California coast we like to stopover and camp at Elk Country RV Resort. The RV park itself is run down, right next to the highway and over $30 a night even though it's off season and almost empty.

But, the locals are incredible and well worth the price of camping. Virtually every time we have stopped by, we've been treated to a close-up experience with a local herd of Roosevelt Elk!

This spring we booked in for three days, and each day the Elk herd came for a visit. One evening they played out in a field right behind our trailer and the next morning just as we were pulling out they surrounded us in the truck. We had to wait for them to finish munching the fresh grass around our rig and move on. So awesome to witness! Luckily I managed to capture highlights of the action on video to share. Hope you enjoy it - Ray

weBoost has this week released a new booster system tailored specifically for RVers. I was given an early review sample and have been testing it out in various locations, especially on the demanding Oregon coast, well known for poor cell coverage.

The review should be out soon I have a few more spots I want to check and compare the signal boosting performance to my previous experiences. I've done tests before with their Sleek and OTR trucker kits I'll compare results and see how this one stacks up. Stay tuned to this page or my blog or newsletter. - Ray

GenTent Portable Generator Safety Canopy Review for RVers

Post has attachment
See Full Blog Post - http://www.loveyourrv.com/gentent-portable-generator-safety-canopy-review-rvers/

In this video, I review a portable inverter generator safety canopy from a US based company called GenTent.

They make canopy covers for almost all makes and models of portable generators. The model I review is the GenTent 10k XKi Stormbracer - https://www.gentent.com/GenTent-10k-XKi-p/gt10kxkitb.htm designed to fit on my Champion 2000 watt inverter generator.

Disclaimer: Although I received no monetary compensation for my review, I did receive a free review sample of the GenTent 10k XKi Stormbracer courtesy of GenTent.com. I have no affiliation with GenTent – Ray

First I unbox the kit and explain the assembly and features. Then I take it to the stormy Oregon coast during early spring to test it out.

I demo the GenTent in action at several wet, windy camping locations and even try it out in extreme winds and pelting rain on a Pacific coast bluff during a storm.

The GenTent did fail the final extreme test, but I still give it a thumbs up. The GenTent Generator Safety Canopy should prove to be a useful addition for RV boondocking adventures or during campground power outages.

We've tallied more than a dozen RV trips along the Oregon coast and we still find new things to see and do. This trip up the coast we have stopped at Cape Blanco SP for the first time.
Nice little, forested campground for 22 bucks water and electric. There is an old historic lighthouse a 15-minute walk away where they offer tours by volunteers for 2 bucks.
Interesting to hear the history and great views. http://www.capeblancoheritagesociety.com/cape-blanco-light-station/
