Good pizza, cool spot, great service. Had the stuffed deep dish that was good but Giordano's was way better

So far I haven't had anything bad here. Gino's East used to be my absolute favorite deep dish pizza, but sorry Mr. East, Lou has beat ya! Comparing the two, both have cornbread consistency crust and pattie sausage-style pizza. However Gino's sausage goes down slooooowww.. Like you can just hear the heartburn as you digest it. and the crust is thicker (i.e more fattening). Lou's sausage is not as heavy and the crust is so friggin good, I eat the entire slice of pizza. Lou's also had spinach bread, cheese balls (don't knock em til you've tried em) and fried zucchini. Not to slight Gino's, Ginos does have the bomb fried spinach sticks, but the grease is heavy and you can tell they fry the spinach sticks, cheese sticks and whatever else they fry in the same grease. Ew Also Lou's is cheaper than Ginos. I pay about $18 for a small deep dish sausage pizza and I pay $11,.21 for the one from Lou's. Ok I'm tired of typing but long story short: Lou's is better than Gino's. I'd like to eat it every Thursday. Why Thursday? just an arbitrary day I picked that wasn't Monday or Friday. GO LOU'S

This is the definitive Chicago-style pizza. We were visiting with the kids for the weekend, and I called a friend who grew up nearby and asked him where I should go to get a good Chicago pizza. He suggested Lou Malnati's, so we went. Wait was minimal and parking was available on the street right on the block. We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic, which came on a butter crust, and we left nothing! This was without a doubt, the best Chicago-style pizza I have ever eaten, and I would suggest Lou Malnati's as a destination when you're planning your trip to Chicago. We can't wait to go back. LOVE Lou Malnati's!

This location is great only two blocks from where I live and have been a frequent customer. the butter crust on your deep dish is a must!! Now for the down side..my last two or three visits have not lived up to my expectations in deep dish pizza. There was a nice thick buttery crust on the bottom, a solid ring around the edges to hold the toppings inside, and the toppings... well where were they?? In a deep dish I want a thick crust, tons of cheese and tons of sauce plus anything else I add in there. My last pizzas from this location have been very little cheese, very little sauce and not very many toppings on the inside. Not my idea of a deep dish, the thick tasty crust was there and is the only reason for 3 stars. If you love the crust and not much else on your deep dish pizza this maybe the place for you.

This is where I take work clients or friends from out of town to have a Chicago deep dish! The service is great! All the employees here really make me feel they want to give me the perfect meal experience every time. Of course, the deep dish is super delish! Not too much cheese and generous on the other ingredients, and the crust is perrrrrfect! It's crispy, flavorful, and none of that dryness you may find in other deep dish pizzas around town! The same kind of quality can be found in their apps and desserts! The chocolate chip pizza with ice cream on top is just -drool-. If you have not been to Lou's, YOU HAVE TO GOOOOO!

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is the best pizza in town, IMHO, they have been delivering deep dish pizzas since I arrived in Chicago, they even deliver across the USA VIA fedex thats how good their pizza is. If you like deep dish pizza you will love their selections, they do have thin crust but the deep dish is by far the winner if you like eating pizza like a pie. The service always rocks and the price are high but you get what you pay for great pizza and great service, many locations throughout the city.

Lou Malnati's is so delicious. They are my favorite pizza place in Chicago. I like this location in the city as it's close to downtown and the Museum Campus, so you can stop in no matter what you have planned for your day, and the service has always been great. I HIGHLY suggest you check them out if you are gluten free - they are one of the rare few who have AMAZING gluten free pizza! :)

Had the cheese deep crust one and it was good. Order ahead for pickup. I had to wait for 30 minutes for it but I guess it is normal.
