There's nothing better than Chicago style pizza in Chicago! I have eaten at all the major players in Chicago and they each have a little something going for them. At Lou's the butter crust really makes the pizza. The pizza is piping hot and filled with lots of gooey cheese, sauce, and Italian sausage. The hot wings are also very tasty. They have a nice crunch to them and just the right amount of heat. Service was a little off at this location.

The pizza was lovely. My husband and I shared a deep dish cheese pizza which was for 2-3 people - I think he could have done with a little more but we hadn't had much to eat all day and he was starving. We had tiramasu for dessert and were very disappointed with it. It took a long time to get served to us and it was not properly defrosted so the middle was still frozen but because it was so late we just 'cut' it with our spoons as best we could and left after we paid.

Deep dish was delicious. For appetizers we ordered the pizza tostada that included three different types of dips. I wasn't happy with the dips. They looked mushy I've tried better dips. The pizza made up for it so then I got happy. lol. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had the classic and it was a truly unique experience. They serve some really amazing, different, and delicious pizza. Coming back here for sure.

pizza was fine. not anything special and lacking in my opinion. They are also extremely slow with service. half of the restaurant was empty yet they still had us waiting in the front for 20 minutes. the nice thing is that they let you pre-order your pizza while you wait. would recommend going to Gino's or Giordano's instead for deep dish.

The deep dish is delicious. The crust is light, buttery, and flakey! The appetizer I had order was the trio dip and pizza chips. The chips were good, but the dips were not good at all! They were hard and cold! Plus they don't have fries :( but the pizza it self was delicious.

Delicious but not the best! Giordano's makes a better Deep-dish pizza but Lou gives you more. Papa John's makes a better chocolate chip cookie pizza and it's cheaper... But no ice cream. Recommended!

My sister and I always eat here when we get a chance. Lou Mal's is our special place and we always eat the same thing. The Lou pizza is our favorite and that's all we get. If you're looking for a solid deep dish pizza in the Chicago area, you have to go here. Of course, it's packed with Northwestern students and family on the nights and weekends... so be prepared to wait. It's worth it!
