How are recruitment businesses attracting, engaging and retaining their talent? Join us for our annual 'Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For' #RecHangout special on the 2nd April at 1pm BST, as we discuss workplace engagement in the recruitment space.

We are joined by three recruitment leaders whose businesses made the Best 100 Small Companies to Work For List 2015:

Adam Metherell - Commericial Director at ChapmanBlack

Graeme Hubert - Co-founder of Consol Partners

Kieran Behan - Manging Director at Phaidon International

Every year its a pleasure to see recruitment businesses dominate this list - demonstrating their excellent levels of workplace engagement and their expert knowledge of their industry. The list is produced and published by Best Companies - an organisation that helps businesses measure, recognise and improvement employee engagement levels. The list is determined by the BCI Measure that looks at 8 factors of workplace engagement - management, leadership, company, personal growth, team, giving something back, pay and benefits and well being. Find out more here.

The #RecHangout is hosted by Alan Whitford (RCEuro / Abtech Partnership), Louis Welcomme (Colleague Software),Mark Stephens (The Recruitment Alliance / Smart Recruit Online) and Louise Triance (UK Recruiter).

The #RecHangout is not affiliated to Best Companies or The Sunday Times.

Here at Barclay Jones we are passionate about maximising the efficiency of recruitment processes and utilising the very best recruitment technology. We know recruitment leaders are too, but sometimes the big ideas can be lost in the day to day work of running a successful recruitment business. That’s why we decided to give all the recruitment leaders out there some great ideas by asking key members of the Barclay Jones team what they would do if ...

Marketing Executive at recruitment technology and CRM innovators, Colleague Software. I share top recruiting articles, videos, white papers, tips and tools.
Introduction
Hello, I'm Louis Welcomme. I work as a Marketing and PR Executive at Colleague Software - a recruitment software provider based in the UK.

I run the Colleague Recruitment Blog - building and promoting interesting and informed content to recruitment consultants (we welcome guest articles). I also manage Colleague's social media channels - including my personal favourite, Twitter @ColleagueRS - (please feel free to follow).

My background is not in recruitment (I graduated in 2009 with a History and Politics Degree), however since joining Colleague in 2011 I have found the recruitment industry to be an interesting and dynamic sector to be working in - especially in a time of exciting change and innovation.

I try to genuinely involve myself with the recruitment community, attending as many UK events as possible, (you may see me often recording the talks for YouTube) and taking part in and listening to discussions over the future of recruitment agency strategy and technology, online and offline - with a special interest in social recruiting.

I have a personal interest in history, politics, good food and drink, comedy, as well as classic rock music and enjoy living in the fine city of Norwich!

I don't manage any sales within Colleague Software - I tend to see my role in terms of simply raising awareness of Colleague so recruiters have greater choice when reviewing or adopting new recruitment software for their business.

If you are looking for recruitment software I would recommend you speak to my colleagues on 01603 735935 or sales@colleaguesoftware.com to see if our recruitment software would be suitable for your agency. You can also head to http://www.colleaguesoftware.com to get more of an overview of our software.
