5-star review of Flayed from Reader's Favorite:

"Flayed is an epic fantasy novel by author Louis Puster III and the third volume in the continuing Saga of Ukumog. The action continues to center around our unlikely hero, Wrack, who has had much to discover about his dark heritage since crawling out of his own grave. After the brief flashbacks that have haunted him for some time, now his real memories begin to bleed into his mind and leave him with yet more to discover. His hearty companion, the beautiful warrior Brin, has her own demons to slay, perhaps even literally as she embarks upon a journey to Flay in search of answers as to the death of her father. But here there are dark temptations beyond all measure, those that may turn Wrack into a monster for good.

Louis Puster III weaves the tapestry of a complex and deeply dark world from page one. Wrack is a fascinating hero with a tortured psyche, whose inner journey against the evil he feels is just as important as the outward evils we meet in this terrifying new world. Puster’s locations are spine-tingling in their realism, easily imagined and hard to forget. Fans of both horror and epic fantasy are certain to immerse themselves in this sublime world and never wish to leave, as page after page of adventure and intrigue unfold. Flayed is a thrilling continuation in a masterful fantasy series that requires your full attention, but is well worth the effort by its startling conclusion. Highly recommended for those in search of darkness."

In this post, I am going to give you guys a quick highlight of the things that happened at these shows, from my perspective. Sorry I don't have very many pictures to share, I was kinda busy, but I have put in a bunch of links for the shows and some of the awesome people I have met. I hope you at least enjoy those.

People who love board games! There is a little con in Atlanta in March that is all about games. It is awesome, and run by super fun people: http://www.andocon.org/ If you love board games, you should go.

Sidenote: I will have a table in the dealer's room at this show. While it might seem a little out of place, I just love this show and the people who run it. I can't help but support it. If you decide to come, stop by my table and say hello.

Things have happened since my last post in March. Sorry that I have been away, but I haven't felt like I have much to say. Honestly, I need to learn to realize that I should write, even when I don't want to. More on that in a bit. I went to two conventions in the time since my last update. One was Treklanta, a small-ish Star Trek convention here in Atlanta. The other was Sci Fi Summer Con.

Thanks for the idea. I have tried that in the past, and what ends up happening is that the stories end up emotionally flat. I really need to dive in deeply so the wounds they leave are more than skin deep.

Charlie from Altered Confusion interviewed me the other day and here is the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GjWS8_RFVk&feature=youtu.be

I am quite sure I make an ass out of myself, but I hope that you enjoy it anyway.

You didn't remotely make an ass of yourself. You sound confident and likable. Nice work. :-)

YO PEOPLES!

Andocon is this coming weekend (March 11th - 13th). It is a gaming convention in Atlanta where a whole lot of strangers get together and play all sorts of table top games. There panels on making games, and even playtests for some games which will soon come out. It is a lot of fun.

Price for the weekend: $35 bucks per person at the door. (Pre reg is already closed)

Please keep in mind, however, this is a con. There will be people in strange cosplay and drunk people playing games. Parents should be aware of that, lest you think that this is a place where you can drop your 10 yr old off and let the con babysit for you. I would not suggest that.

Also, I will have a table in the dealers room. So, if you come to the show, make sure you stop by and say hello.

I hope to see you there!
