A good burger patty. Probably the best I have ever had. The other toppings were solid, but nothing really to speak of. Also, get here early if trying to get in around meal times.

A cozy, warm, and welcoming establishment. Make sure to learn Louis' Lingo before ordering to make things easier for yourself. Overall good burgers - and since things haven't changed much since the original, you feel like you're enjoying a part of history (or at least we did). Cool spot when in town.

The food is incredible. It's worth the wait even when it's busy. Easily the best burger I've ever had.

As someone who lives in CT, I find Louie's Lunch to be the best burgers there hands down. Now, there are things to be said, the staff will get mad if you ask for condiments yes, but it isn't a true mad, they are actually being sarcastic, but you still won't get condiments, as a sign reads, "This isn't Burger King, you can have it my way, or you won't get the damn thing." The burgers generally aren't as great as when Jeff is there, but it is a great shop, and if you realize they are a sarcastic bunch, you will love it.

Walk in and attempt to find a seat if you are fortunate. However, come expecting to stand or share seating space because it's a cozy nook. Order "your" burger and/or potato salad with the drink of choice and wait with an open mind. What you will recieve is a basic "original burger" but refreshingly it's not without taste and texture. This establisment it meant to be an exerience not a customer oriented service. If you are expecting the usual pampered culinary service don't bother coming because you will not be happy. Overall, it will be hopefully be worth the $7 you'll spend that day. If not go to Prime 16, but if you do try something different.
