Not cool if someone plunks down for your hardware, let them make it talk to whatever!!

To create a hollow part: thicken the outside faces inwards and select the ‘intersect’ option.

My exact feelings.

After a month of waiting, I received my Pixel-2 LS this week and thought I would come back and give my brief impression. As everyone says, it's extremely well-built.
- Not as heavy as everyone seems to review.
- The screen and graphics are the best I've ever seen on any monitor in my 32 years of computing.
- Type C charges really fast.
- The trackpad is accurate and very smooth.
- Every Chromebook should have backlit keys. Makes all the difference in the world when hitting keys on the edges.
- This Pixel Chromebook is instantaneous-fast.
- The 3:2 aspect ratio for the screen is great because it allows you to see more vertical space on any web page.
- The hinge is strong, but yet the lid opens with one finger.
- Boot speed for me is 2 seconds.
- Battery time this week averages 11 hours, leaving me with 18-24% charge. Recharging for 15 minutes gives me 2 hours more juice.

Was it worth the $1,300? Every friggin' penny!

Haha
Microsoft is going back to the basics for a joke at the expense of Windows Phone today. What do you do when your smartphone operating system has less than three percent market share worldwide?...

I read the same story on the way into work.  Pretty funny.  I can't wait to see if Dell or MS responds...

I love tech. Usually new tech makes me ask the question.. How can I justify buying that? With my job I usually find some 5 degrees of separation to buy it.

The iPod, iPad, google Pixel, Nest everything.. But the Apple watch did nothing for me. Gave up the watch 12 years ago and was not going back.

Notifications are still going off in my pocket on my phone, I just don't get how this matters or delivers something I don't already have. It doesn't really standalone.

At $350 on the cheap end is rather buy 10 raspberry pi and build some kickass project.
Though we have no idea how many were available in the first place.

I ride and use cyclometer and use moves for steps and other activities. I could not put a watch on again.

Onshape Cad station?
While Google's Chromebooks are finding a measure of success in certain markets, Chrome OS hasn't exactly found much traction in other form factors, like the Mac mini-esque Chromebox or all-in-one...

I'm sure you'll have the first unit off the line and will be able to fill the rest of us in on how well it works. ;)

*Second Gen Pixel"
So today my Google Pixel LS showed up.
* Intel® Core™ i7, 16GB RAM, 64GB SSD

I owned the original Pixel and was very happy with it.  Loved that it had LTE and the speed and performance was as good as or better than most of my systems.  The biggest draw back was the 5hr battery.  Not horrible but not what I had on my Samsung or Asus versions of Chromebook.

The speed is sick.  Very fast in any action from launching new tabs to watching video.  Most of the build is the same but the new 12hr battery life and 16GB ram makes those days of 40+n tabs no big deal.

Much more to test but thrilled thus far.

The Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil sandwich is the best! Cool bistro feel and they now have a dining area inside.

Sushi is sub-par and extremely overpriced for standard rolls. I find their selection is great but the quality of the sushi is poor.
