And it's begun.

She brought this all on herself.

Your religion has no place in government. or a bakery. or a photo studio.

Lawyers filed a motion Tuesday morning to hold Kentucky's Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in contempt of court for refusing to obey the bevy of court orders against her and provide marriage licenses for same-sex couples.

And the stay has lifted.

Unless the SCOTUS intervenes, she'll either have to do her job or risk jail/fines.

Personally, I hope she risks the jail/fines.
A lawyer representing Kim Davis said "she's going to have to think and pray about her decision overnight."

+Holy Franklin gay marriage is when two gay men marry each or two lesbians marry.

Of course, this gluttonous pig has been married four times

Of course, this "legit" right wing terrorist group is also a christian ministry and tax-exempt organization.

Proof that religious reichers need to lose their tax exempt status.
On Friday, anti-gay Kentucky clerk Kim Davis filed an emergency application to the Supreme Court, begging the justices to stay a lower court decision instructing her to grant marriage licenses. (Davis filed the application to Justice Elena Kagan, who will likely refer it to the full court.) As you may recall, Davis refused...

Typical thug and terrorist.

"oh, don't be so emotional over your kids death, they died for a good cause--to keep murderers, thieves and liars, our clientele, on the streets!"
Colion Noir, a spokesman and video host for the National Rifle Association (NRA), said in a video that the parents of murdered TV journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward should not let their emotions cloud their judgment when it comes to the availabi

+Luis Rosales 21 years old and you want to talk about child labor and children being able to make their own decisions. You are just of legal age in some states and you preach about something you have never seen nor experienced. Reevaluate your profile page because thete us so such more you are going to experience and learn. But then, after associating with many of your generation, I cannot believe how invincible you think you are.

Henderson told the Daily Tribune she's still deciding how she'll vote, but says CID leaders approached her and encouraged her to consider "unregistering" and not voting at all, a tactic she deemed "manipulative"

Tell me again how conservativism and capitalism are good things.
Business leaders in Columbia, Missouri, are caught in a web of their own spinning today, after their attempt to keep citizens from casting ballots on a sales tax measure inadvertently left the proposed tax's fate in the hands of just one voter.

BAH-OOOOOM!

Your religion doesn't matter, do your job.

I must point out that Justice Kagan pushed this to the entire court. the entire court said no.
Justice Elena Kagan referred the request from Rowan County Clerk Kimberly Davis to the full court, which denies the request on Monday evening.

I think I read somewhere about a DMV clerk who refused to issue a driver's license to a lesbian. Although it wasn't because she was gay, the clerk explained that women drivers have threatened the sanctity of driving, so he took a stand and sent her walking. He added that NASCAR was like a religion to him.
But, barring an epidemic of pencil necked crusaders at city hall, it looks as if the government will indeed be licensing gay marriage. Hopefully a proper, government license will do for gay relationships what government driver licensing did for American motoring.
The courteous and skilled driving demonstrated by the average American motorist should give us all hope.
Well, traffic is heavy and I have some emails to read, so I'll sign off for now.

Last week the couple filed a new, separate lawsuit against Davis, Rowan County, and Rowan County Judge Executive Walter Blevins - who has also reportedly refused to issue them a license - along with others.

Blevins got his summons today. Davis will get it sometime this week.

The citizens of the county will now pay because a gluttonous, married four times Christian can't due her job because..."mah religion!"
A same-sex couple who have been denied a marriage license three times by Kim Davis' office has filed suit in federal court.

Not sure either can be, given that she was elected. She SHOULD be on her own, though. She obviously can't be forced by anyone.

+Marguerita B All Republicans take that position.

they feel that "social entitlements" are bad.

It was like when Paul Ryan tried to wipe away social security, ignoring that the only reason he is where he is is because his daddy died and he got survivor benefits.

Of course, the Canadian-Cuban Conservative terrorist would have to prove that "God Almighty" exists.
Ted Cruz brought the full preacher's son persona with him to South Carolina this weekend, where he bellowed against same-sex marriage and the Supreme Court.
