Award winning film released July 31st. this is one the most creative and disturbing films you will ever see, it's scary, funny, disturbing, and cinematically beautiful, the acting is superb, the audio and soundtrack is award worthy. this is a must see!

Of the many quality films we caught at @screamfestla
"Rupert" the titular character is indeed evil, in addition to being one of the most deranged we’ve seen in the genre since perhaps Hooper’s original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, though entirely uniquely its own.

@horrorsociety
Rupert is going to be in my top 3 shorts of the year and it’s going to be in my top 10 films in general. It’s a disturbing, suspenseful roller-coaster. It’s filled with top notch writing, expert cinematography and some of the best acting that I’ve seen in an independent production in a long time. Just when I thought The Boxleitner Brothers couldn’t raise the bar any higher, they did!
FINAL SCORE: 10 out of 10

Adam the movie god:
highly entertaining, quite out there Horror film from a couple of very talented filmmakers.

@horrorfreaksnews
In tone and even look, I was reminded of Romero's original Creepshow.

I had an absolute blast with this segment and I cannot wait to see the rest of the film. If the other segments are anything like Rupert, this is going to be a contender for one of the best anthology films in recent memory.

Real Reel Scares:
The performance by Lee Boxleitner, its just brilliant.The cinematography is great the score is brilliant (I want to own it badly). Its fun, its twisted, its a total ‘what the frig did I just watch’ short that just hit a groove and made me want to watch it again. Whatever these guys do next – I want to see it.

@ernie_trinidad
From the writing to the directing to the performances this one is a very effective slasher film that will have you grinning from ear to ear because it's just so damn fun. The film would certain feel right at home as an episode of Tales from the Crypt or even a segment in Creepshow. If Rupert is any indication, Die! Sitter! Die! can't get here soon enough.

Of the many quality films we caught at Screamfest 2015, one of the more uniquely disturbing and rather cringe inducing was Lee and Sam Boxleitner’s psychological horror comedy Die! Sitter! Die! : Rupert,

It’s going to make it rain awards. I can’t stop raving about it.

Adam the movie god:
Die! Sitter! Die! or “Rupert” was a highly entertaining, quite out there Horror film from a couple of very talented filmmakers. Lee and Sam wrote a disturbing story, got a small and capable cast together and managed to lock down a stunning location. On top of that, the camera work, audio and lighting were intense and a vital part of the reason this comes together so well.

Beneath The Underground:

The film is hilarious and horrifying. Once it hits its stride, the pacing is furious as Rupert is both imposing and hilarious in his interactions with Allison. The violence is over the top in a gleeful way as the two display a Tom and Jerry fight by way of Inside. The dominance is always shifting, leading to a conclusion that becomes unsure to the viewer. The finale is nothing new, but it is a fun as hell ride getting there.

I had an absolute blast with this segment and I cannot wait to see the rest of the film. If the other segments are anything like Rupert, this is going to be a contender for one of the best anthology films in recent memory.

I loved this so much would still be missing. The performance by Lee Boxleitner, its just brilliant. A Comic, horrifying and sickening performance in only 15 minutes screen time. The cinematography is great the score is brilliant (I want to own it badly).

Its fun, its twisted, its a total ‘what the frig did I just watch’ short that just hit a groove and made me want to watch it again. Whatever these guys do next – I want to see it.
