Have to say, this place has taken over my Milpas Mex top spot. Menu is deep with great specials on the board. Always something interesting. They can handle the crowds they get and I always end up happy. Nothing to complain about.

Delicious food all around. Excellent attentive service. Can't go wrong in any way. The chips and salsa were free and really fantastic, too. Best in Santa Barbara.

A bit pricey for my budget, didn't care for the rice as it had a shrimp flavoring to it. It was a very busy place on a Saturday night. Great service! Overall good food. Large portions. No kids menue, didn't like that I had to pay for a full adult portion and get three times the amount of food my child needed. I would recomend half portions for kids. The soda and ice ran out while we were there. They changed the soda fairly quickly for how busy they were but the ice never got refilled. I would recommend you try them. Happy good feeling atmosphere.

I love this place. They has the best bang to the buck, with quality food and good service. They provide chips at no charge and their salsa bar is the besssssssssssst. Highly recommend to eat there at least once. I go there every day of the week almost for lunch on Del la Vina branch.

Santa Barbara is known for its Mexican food, and it does not disappoint. When I got into town this past summer, this was the first place I ate. I was initially put off as it looks a little polished for a casual Mexican place. I was thinking some a little more stereotypical I guess--smaller, less options, dirtier--but whatever! They have a good 8 different salsas to choose from, of which the salsa verde, pico de gallo, and one other spicy one I liked; the others weren't really my cup of tea, but I'm sure others appreciate them. There was a decent amount of dining space, but we just got our stuff to go. Although they have a large menu that looks great, I kept things basic. I got a pretty damn great chicken burrito here (burrito majado). Not perfect, but up there. The biggest fault was that there wasn't quite enough chicken, but what was there was tender and delclious. They also went a little overboard with the emlted cheese, but all of the ingredients were all of high quality and fresh--especially the guacamole. We also got some chips, which were freshly made and helped us try all of the different salsas. subsequent visits confirmed that burritos are the way to go, with the steak option being solid and the fish and shrimp option being amazing. This is the kind of great Mexican food I wish we had more of in NY: great tasting, reasonably priced (especially for the portion), and with fresh ingredients. It's not that hard people! And yet it is. I'll be back next time I'm in Santa Barbara!

I can't stand reviews but feel guilty not commenting on this place. Some of the best Mexican food I've had, served by some of the nicest people.

first time in 10 years that I feel in Mexico again :) no other restaurant in California that I know of get close to the quality and flavor of the food from this restaurant, even though I'm from Ontario, I would plan on a vacation to S. Barbara just to go to the restaurant again
