I now have 7000 unread messages in gmail. 900 read messages at work that need processing. There is something wrong with society and the way we communicate when we spend more time processing email then connecting with people. Solutions?
Yipes, that is awful. There are those people who love to spam you with 20 messages where one well written one and careful reading of yours could have limited the whole thing to just 2 emails one from you and another from them in response.
Occasionally, I find that some people are easier to communicate with in person or by video conference because they just don't understand without the nuances of tone of voice or facial expression.
