Breaking out of the silence, out of the shell. Writing that death business post and getting it the eff out of my system. Taking care of business, big and small.

Small wonder that this classic tune came to mind... and is being blasted at my desk. :))) Happy Thursday, y'all! This Bitch is Back. In black. :~)

back in black I hit the sack
I been too long I’m glad to be back
yes I am
let loose from the noose

I keep looking at the sky cause it's gettin' me high
forget the hearse cause I’ll never die
I got nine lives cat's eyes
using every one of them and runnin' wild
cause I’m back

Interesting approach! I think it depends on how good/useful the eBook actually is. Most are 30 page PDFs... 😜

This little act completely changes the context in which visitors view the offer. ...why pay for an eBook when you can just register and get it for free? #contentmarketingtips
Shift Communications recently made a pitch for paid, earned, owned and shared media; the campaign exemplifies the very concepts the PR firm is promoting.

This recently discovered cave in Vietnam is massive beyond description. An entire forest is growing inside! There are no words to describe the enormity, and beauty of this natural wonder.

Introduction

"Now I help people I never dreamed I’d meet: world famous entertainers, C-level executives, entrepreneurs, and directors of charitable organizations. By helping them to contribute something meaningful into the world, I get to serve my deepest desire. I want to unlock the proverbial music inside of every leader (their deepest passion, purpose, and identity) so they can build a social platform that will touch the world with their sound (and get them amazing opportunities!) I want to help all of us to make the world a better, brighter place via social media the way it was meant to be ~ via collaboration and sharing what matters most."

How? Everybody asks. Here's my backstory:

In 2005, just after Mark Zuckerberg opened up Facebook to Universities, I found myself back in college again. Full time. With all the 20 year olds. My best friend at school was 18 and from out of town. I was old enough to be her Mom, but we clicked over our love of French language and travel. Hanging out with her felt natural, because my kids weren’t much younger and we always had a house full of somebody’s kids spending the night.

Danielle patiently explained important things about college life to me, such as how carrying all your books to every class is not done, being called a “MILF” is a compliment, and that the only person stopping me was me. The full-out life in all those girls inspired me to end my dead marriage of many years and to finish college while bringing up three kids.

Every professional I consulted assured me I would be able to find a rewarding, salaried position with health benefits after graduation. I imagined wearing fancy clothes and feeling more “serious” than I did after years of truly delightful work in natural childbirth, owning and running an upscale specialty boutique, singing (also developing my intuition and interpreting dreams) for an international ministry, schlepping laundry for my family, and cooking inventive meals based on whatever was fresh and on sale that week. I’ve had a wonderful life.

The economy tanked right as I graduated with honors,

as class speaker for my Communications major, in 2008. Even though I took pride in paying bills on time, my carefully laid cash flow plans disappeared as my credit card monthly bills quintupled overnight. I couldn’t sleep during this economic free fall with no end in sight. That’s about the time I got laid off from the job I managed to get among 240 qualified applicants in our sleepy little Southern college town. I alternated between speechlessness and covering my face as I cried my heart out when I was alone.

My family and my ex-husband were far away. I was completely alone and desired to work as close to home as possible so I could be more available for my kids. I needed flexible hours. I needed a flexible location. I needed INCOME. And I needed to do it in a way that honored my soul and put good out into the world. I wanted a lot.

So I created my deeply researched, field-tested Online Reputation Management method and bootstrapped my way into a satisfying and rewarding online presence.

Within a couple months of nonstop re-writing and design work, I landed my first social media design client... in Dubai. My second was in Silicon Valley. Everybody told me this wasn't possible, but I didn't listen. A year and a half later Wiley Publishing came to me out of the blue with an offer to write Online Reputation Management For Dummies. And it became a bestseller on Amazon at #2 in November of 2012.

Bragging rights
Bestselling Author of Online Reputation Management for Dummies (Wiley Publishers) It hit #2 in Public Relations on Amazon! | Went back to college to earn a degree in Communications while bringing up 3 very awesome kids by myself, working part time, taking 18 credit hours (on average), and graduating with honors and as class speaker for my major. I guess you could say I'm a self motivated hard worker. ;)
