I recently stayed here while on a business trip working at Taft Elementary School for a few days. The school arranged for us to stay here while we worked, and it was amazing! Right on the beach, less than half a mile away from where we were working. The continental breakfast was pretty good too, nice when we were busy in the mornings and had to grab breakfast on our way out the door. The ladies at the front desk were really helpful with good walking directions to a few places, and helped us with printing a few documents too. We'd love to come back and stay again soon! Thank you for your hospitality.

We just returned for our second visit to the Looking Glass Inn, the Suites are perfect !! We have stayed in room 217 and 304, the large whirl pool tubs are great for a soak from a long drive. The rooms are amazingly clean, the staff are welcoming and are ready to please. It is located right on the beach with Mo's right across the street. We haven't taken our boxer with us but have enjoyed watching others with their four legged friends and it is very family friendly. Pails and shovels for the kiddos and welcome baskets for the puppies. The continental breakfast has alittle for everyone, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, milk, bagels, just fill your pockets and head for the beach. Celebratory champagne with a sweet note was in our room when we arrived. Just made our visit extra memorable ~ we will be back !!!

Really nice place. Especially for taller people. I have never been able to fit under a shower in any hotel or motel. I was able to easily fit under this shower and the whirlpool tub was big enough for me.

My wife thoroughly enjoyed our 3rd visit to Looking Glass Inn. Bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Great accommodations. Can't say enough!! And nothing negative to say. Staff was very courteous and helpful.

We stayed here based on our great experience from a few years ago when we stayed here. We were in a two bedroom suite. It was small, but comfortable. The big plus was that it was very clean. I would say the best thing was how nice the staff was ... from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The other real bonus was the crab boiling station since we were able to catch a lot of crab ... the station provided pretty much everything we needed to make cooking the crab an easy task.

When we stayed here four years ago we said that if we ever got married this is where we would honeymoon. Here we are four years later, freshly married and keeping our promise to ourselves. The Looking Glass in doesn't disappoint, the honeymoon suites combined with the romance package ensure a romatic, quiet love nest to begin your nuptuals and celebrate in relaxing style. The beds are comfy and the jetted tubs are large enough to be enjoyed by two. Although there is no AC, the breeze from the sliding door and a well placed fan provided in each room provide cool comfort in the summer time. There are blankets and chairs for borrowing to take to the beach and all employees are friendly, helpful and efficient. Housekeeping does a great job of keeping the room tidy and the towels full when you sneak away for meals and adventure. We will stay here again and again, nice and quiet.
