Beginning tomorrow and running for nearly 4 weeks, Bay Street is proud to present The Last Night of Ballyhoo as part of its 2016 Mainstage Season! A success at the Tony Awards, this production of the play features a stellar cast and talented production crew that are ready to present the romantic comedy for audiences! The New York Blood Center has declared an official blood emergency for the region due to on-hand supply making up less than 25% of the ideal amount. Long Island residents are being urged to donate and spread the word about the importance of donating blood. Additionally, NYBC is currently offering up to $500 in scholarship money for high school and college students that organize their own local drives. See below for the full release.
With the region facing an emergency blood shortage, Leg. William R. Spencer, MD stood with his colleagues and Long Island Blood Services to ask the public to give the gift of life.
