Q: What is moderate levoconvex lumbar scoliosis?

A: A left curvature in the lower back with the convex or outside part of the curve or scoliosis on the left side of the body with moderate meaning a curve degree between 20-40 degrees in this region.

Curves in lumbar spine can be associated with back pain due to its altered mechanics (which can increase degeneration) and curve may worsen with age due to further degenerative changes and/or loss of bone density.

Q: Is it possible that a pinched nerve in my neck or back could cause tingling in all my extremities? Other causes?

A: Enough herniated discs or a small enough spinal canal or a combination of both in the cervical or neck region of the spine causing not just a pinched nerve but a pinching or compression of the spinal cord which is called a myleopathy.

Other causes can be non-spinal as well such as certain vitamin deficiencies, diabetes etc. See your doctor if these issues persist.
