Great Hotel! Such nice staff and big, comfortable rooms - very happy!

i stayed at the lombardy many times. it's nicely located, on a side street but close to museums, shopping, theaters. the lobby is nice, the rooms are comfortable. but the bathrooms, although marble and pretty have plumbing issue. the water just gathers in the bathtub during the shower, and you end up staying in soapy water up to your knees if you tend to like your showers.

I have never written a review before but I really loved this place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms clean and sparkling. The rates varied significantly between stays ($159/night in winter 2010 and $299/night in the spring) so you might want to check rates over time to get the best deal. In any case, it was easily worth it and I would pay more to stay there.
