"Dear Google Play Team,
We hereby wish to appeal to the decision taken by your team to remove our google developer account. Indeed, we've posted our O'ciney application (com.sixney.app) on the Google Play Store on June 6, 2014.
The application was praised by its users. In order to complete the application form we have added a promotional video on January 4, 2015. On the same day we received an email from your service indicating that the application did not meet the Google Play Store Policy. We then realized that the music played in the video title ("the entertainer" by Scott Joplin) did not respect copyright as defined in the Play Store policy.
With this in mind, we have decided to remove this video from the application form and we resubmitted the application for approval hoping that the application won't be suspended anymore. But an unexpected result occurred then: our developer account has simply been deleted!
We do not understand this decision since we resubmitted the application as it was originally submitted and validated.
We believe this decision is a mistake on your part and would like to regain our ability to constantly offer new applications that fully comply with your policy.
We want more than anything to continue to take pleasure in creating applications and share them with users, collect feedback and continually improve them.
Thank you to keep in mind that we are 3 people to make these applications on our free time. At no time and under no circumstances do we want to be in violation of your policy.
That's why we ask you humbly the reinstatement of our developer account.
Florent, Kevin, Logan."
and Google to say :
After reviewing your appeal, we have confirmed our initial decision and will not be reinstating your developer account.
Your Google Play Developer account has been terminated due to multiple policy violations by this or associated accounts. For more information on the app removals that lead to this termination please refer to the REASON FOR REMOVAL section(s) of notification emails sent to the registered address(es) of your developer account(s). You may also review the Content Policy and the Developer Distribution Agreement.
Note that Google Play Developer Console terminations are associated with developers, and may span multiple account registrations and related Google services. Do not attempt to register a new developer account. Any subsequent registrations will be closed and your developer registration fee will not be refunded.
We are unable to provide further details and will not respond to additional inquiries. We recommend that you utilize an alternative method for distributing your apps in the future.
