Garduño's restaurant used to be my favorite spot when we would go to Albuquerque as a kid. Now that I'm an adult Garduño's has made its way to Santa Fe and the food is better then I remember as a kid. The views of Santa Fe and the mountains from the dining room are top notch and incredible. You can view all of Santa Fe from your dining table!

Garduno's of Santa Fe is Santa Fe's hidden gem. One of the very few restaurants in the Northwest corner of Santa Fe, Garduno's was chosen as the restaurant to serve The Lodge. Garduno's boasts one of the best views in Santa Fe: a panoramic view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, whether from inside the dining room or outside on the patio. It has the feel of a mountain lodge. Their food is consistently good, service is always friendly, and it's a great location for locals right next door to Santa Fe Spa and the Park and Ride bus stop. Commuters using Park and Ride can stop by to get breakfast in the morning before heading off to work or pick up dinner to go on their way home. Members of Santa Fe Spa can choose from many healthy options on their extensive menu. It's also a neighborhood restaurant within walking distance from Los Pinones apartments and local condos. For some reason it's hard to find good posole in Santa Fe but Garduno's posole is great!

A truly unique and beautiful hotel! I hosted an intimate event and could not have been more pleased with the venue and room accommodations. The staff and General Manager Helga do a wonderful job making you feel welcomed and at home. Would absolutely recommend this place to any travelers wanting to get away and enjoy some beautiful classic Spanish serenity.

I have spent the night here several times. The Southwest-style decor is perhaps a little overdone? But the rooms are comfortable and the staff are very nice.

Last month I arranged a wedding reception for my son at the lodge at Santa Fe. With the help of Suzanne the event planner it turned out to be a wonderful experience, the food was excellent and Chris the server was better than I could've ever expected.

Stayed one night during a business trip. The rooms were pretty average, bathroom shower just showing a little age and CRT TVs still present. The morning following my night stay I discovered that my room's iron holder was sans iron. "No problem," I thought... I got up an hour early so I have time for breakfast a few minute delay waiting for an iron as I'm getting ready shouldn't be an issue. So I called the front desk and was told they'd look into it an someone should be by my room shortly. 25 min later, no one has arrived so I call again. I'm told they were surprised housekeeping hasn't stopped by and they'd try again. 15 min later, I call again, this time put on hold while they try to reach housekeeping. I'm told there's no reply and they'd keep trying. 5-10min later I receive a call from the front desk, they simply can't get a hold of housekeeping and I'm left with no options from the hotel while my severely wrinkled shirt taunts me from the corner. As my last option to avoid showing up to a customer meeting with my clothing in its current state I finally get a hold of a co-worker also staying at The Lodge... and borrow his iron. I was a little less than pleased about the ordeal after arriving to the hotel past midnight the evening prior, getting a few hours of sleep, dealing with the unnecessary iron fiasco, and showing up to my meeting 10 minutes late un-caffeinated and grumpy. The hotel might be fine for an easy-go-lucky vacationer, but I wouldn't recommend it for a business or any other traveler trying to live by a schedule. Or, then again, maybe mine was just a once-off terrible experience... And not that its necessarily under the hotel's control, but as I was preparing to leave I noticed what appeared to be a juvenile spider crawling on the bed sheet; I did not notice any other pests during my stay, though. I should mention that the front desk staff working late-night check-in had been very courteous and friendly... as had been the staff I spoke with in the morning. I can't fault them either as I saw only one person manning the desk during both morning and night so they probably were dependent upon housekeeping to deliver items, lest their post go unmanned.

Spent 3 nights there on a romantic weekend and had a great stay (Jr. King Suite $134/night with AARP, before taxes). Excellent desk staff and wonderful room attendants. For the money, it's a great place to stay. The only bad part is you have to drive to get anywhere. However, if you're planning on spending allot of time in your room, as you really should on a romantic weekend, it has a great view and the rooms are large and richly appointed in the classic southwestern style. Someone spent allot of money putting this hotel together. I can't comment on the pool or the chapel; since it was winter and I'm an atheist, but if it's like everything else here I'm confident you won't be disappointed. The price with AARP discount was about $30 per night less than the Hilton downtown (comparable hotel).

No room service unless you call several times. So they might not clean room. It's a nice place but needs better or updated public relations and updated services. It's slowly falling apart. The place has potential. It just needs better caring.

On the plaza or outskirts of town, there is plenty to see and do in Santa Fe. See a play at the Lensic, ski the mountains, or explore a historic landmark with a stay at the Lodge at Santa Fe.
