Good to know.

Tim Ferriss is best known for rethinking traditional working life--like by reducing the 40 hour workweek to 4. Now, in his new T.V. show, the Tim Ferriss Experiment (which airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on HLN) he disassembles the rule that it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill.
Productivity guru Tim Ferriss eschews the idea the it takes months or years to learn a new skill. In his new TV show he proves it only takes a week...

Yikes.

But Koch Industries is not entirely opaque. The company's troubled legal history – including a trail of congressional investigations, Department of Justice consent decrees, civil lawsuits and felony convictions – augmented by internal company documents, leaked State Department cables, Freedom of Information disclosures and company whistle-blowers, combine to cast an unwelcome spotlight on the toxic empire whose profits finance the modern GOP.

Please read the response to the RollingStones article above.

After reading the other side of the story I was able to form an objective judgment of the man behind the RollingStones article. His hateful, poisonous, blatant anti-business, anti-success, anti-progress smear campaign against the clearly successful businessmen (Koch brothers) makes me nauseous.

It is this radical environmentalist/socialist/nihilist ideology of the RollingStones reporter that is truly "toxic" in today's difficult business environment.

Notice how the reporter stresses the fact that the sizable wealth of the Koch brothers somehow makes them automatically "evil" before he even explained who the Koch brothers are!

Notice the impotent, passionate rage of the reporter. It's as if he wanted to suggest that we need to force Koch brothers to share their earned wealth with "others" (preferably him) in order to make them "less evil".

All private energy related businesses today are under siege by the irrational environmentalist movement which is radically left leaning. The craziness of the environmental movement has no bounds.
Their unnatural zest for de-industrialization, de-population, increasing of wasteful forced taxation is heartless and fruitless. Just like most of their failing, budget draining make work projects are useless ballasts on our wallets.

Relevant:
Today, I read that BCHydro is suggesting to turn off the electric lights and switch to candles on some nights. Candles?! What's next? Horse driven buggies instead of trolley busses? ;)

They are selling our saved power to California at a higher price. That's the real reason why they want us to burn candles in BC.

An important read.  Thanks Ray.

Read my article on civilian casualties in war in the Washington Post
Since World War I, civilian deaths have become a larger proportion of war casualties.
