Help Wanted With "Resolve 2015" Blog Series:
I'm hosting a series of blog posts during January (tentatively called Resolve 2015) that will provide ideas for higher education professionals to invest in their professional growth over the year. I'm looking for help in the following ways:

-What topics do you think I should cover?
-Would you be interested in writing a guest blog post?
-Help me brainstorm a hashtag!

Some examples of posts I'm already planning:
-Create Your First Professional Conference Presentation
-Resolve to Commit to Self Care (+Brenda Bethman)
-Explore Mindfulness Meditation (+Deborah Maue)
-Improve Your Vendor Relationships

Please spread the word. I want this to be a valuable contribution to the #highered  community, so the more input I have in planning, the better!

This sounds fabulous. I can't seem to come up with a concrete idea for a post topic, but I'll keep thinking. Looking forward to the series!

I'm sharing my blog with 28 authors to bring #highereducation professionals 30 posts in 30 days to inspire you to do more in 2015.
I am so excited to announce the Resolve 2015 blog series. Throughout the month of January, I’ll be publishing a new post every single day, almost exclusively from guest bloggers. The authors range from graduate students to vice presidents; they work in student affairs, marketing, university relations, IT, as faculty members, or consultants. But one thing they …

Exciting news! I'll be teaching Social Media Measurement for Higher Ed online for Higher Ed Experts, starting in January. I've created the course from scratch to meet the needs of campus professionals that want to effectively assess and evaluate their social media program. Very excited about this new opportunity.

Social Media Strategist | Higher Education | Creative Communicator | Training Provider | Speaker | Ph.D. Candidate
Introduction
I currently am a social media strategist, launching a social media program from scratch to an audience of over 7 million customer and business partners. My background is in higher education and includes both marketing and student affairs.

I'm pursuing my Ph.D. in the Advancement of Leadership, Learning and Service in Higher Education at Cardinal Stritch University.  Fingers crossed I have that wrapped up in 2014!  My dissertation research involves the relationship between college student social media use and student engagement.

I keep busy by collaborating with amazing colleagues all around the world, blogging at lizgross.net/blog, maintaining a very ambitious backyard garden, cooking using produce from the garden and other delicious local ingredients, reading, and watching Milwaukee Brewers baseball.
Bragging rights
Plan to finish my dissertation defense at the ripe old age of 30....or 31. Ok now it will be 32...or 33.
