An editor, writer, project manager, and trainer who enjoys sharing and learning.
I'm lucky enough to work at Mind Tools - a company whose mission includes helping people to be happy as well as successful. Publishing new high-quality L&D content every day is a challenge and a thrill, and it's exciting to hear enthusiastic responses from readers around the world.
Once out of college, it was my jobs in the U.K.'s National Health Service and Citizens Advice bureau network that taught me how to translate complex, technical content for lay audiences. Cambridge University Press gave me my formal editing and management grounding. And it was a privilege to present the lifesaving work of the non-profit RNLI to funders and volunteers for nearly a decade, while leading a large team of writers and editors.
When I'm not wielding the pen or the mouse, you'll find me outdoors, walking or cycling the hills, valleys and shoreline of Sussex, or soaking up the culture on London's South Bank.
