I reluctantly write this review as I feel like it's my little hidden secret - once it gets out, I fear it will become difficult to get an appointment!! I know, I'm selfish :) I have been going to Day Dream for massage for years now - ever since it was just Lupe working out of a single room, and now she has multiple rooms, services and more hands on deck. Guess it goes to show that the businesses that are actually good at what they do, don't suffer too badly when the economy goes to crap. I mainly see Lupe (and she is AMAZING!), but I have also seen a few of the other girls as well (Veronica, and ..?? I can't recall her name - not helpful, I know), and they were also very good. I guess I am bias towards Lupe since I have been seeing her for so long, but you can't really go wrong with any of them. I have had all different types of massage - prenatal, Swedish, hot stone etc., and have never had an issue with any of the techniques. The place is very clean (important!!) and comfortable, temperature is always spot on, and I always walk out feeling like a million bucks! I also love that you can book online, although their online system can be a little tricky to navigate at times. I also agree that the office is a little hard to find the first time, but when you've been once, your fine. And now they have better signage above the doors. Probably wouldn't hurt for them to put some kind of map of the building on their website since there are lots of different offices in the building. Directions: as an FYI, if you park around the back of the building, you enter in through the glass doors. Once you enter, you will see a pharmacy (I think that's what it is - has a glass wall/windows?) immediately to your left. Opposite from that is a hallway to the right - go down that hallway and you will see the little sign above the door for room 113 (Day Dream). Enter into heaven :)

I needed a substantial shade sail to cover my outdoor area that has no natural shade at all (West San Jose). Rolf came out and we discussed a large custom sail that would suit my needs. They are pricey, but when you look at anything custom, the price is always substantial, and these sails are clearly high quality and well-constructed. We placed our order and the sail was ready quicker than anticipated. I am happy with the way the shade sail turned out, however my one complaint was that Rolf moved the bracket attached to my house 3 times, therefor had to patch 2 separate sets of installation holes in my smooth stucco. Of course you can see the patch (the bolts used to attach the bracket are sizable given what they must hold), and the touch-up paint is noticeable – not that the paint Rolf’s fault, but I just wish he had hit the right spot the first time. I am not convinced the angle of the shade is conducive to the angle the sun passes over our backyard, but I also think I need to give it one full summer to see how it works (shade wasn't installed until mid-August). Rolf was very easy to work with, and came back multiple times to help out with the sail since we had to partially take it down to allow for some other work to be done. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for him – what a nice change that makes! I would absolutely contact him again if I were in need of more shade.

This review is for the photo and USPS desk. I have been here on separate occasions and the staff here have no idea what they are doing. The person who 'helped' me with my photos had no idea what he was doing, wasted 10 minutes walking between machines pushing random buttons, and when he finally printed out the photos, they were of terrible quality (lucky I checked before leaving the store, but I didn't bother doing anything about it seeing as the staff clearly didn't know what they were doing in the first place). I then had to post some important documents and silly me assumed they couldn't stuff up postage. Wrong! All I needed was delivery confirmation, and they had no idea what that was and said I could just pick between prices on the screen and they all did the same thing? Anyway, the 'package ID' number they said was delivery confirmation was not at all, so once again, I am left to believe these guys have no idea what they are doing in there. I wont be going back to this store for anything - useless staff who are not helpful and have no idea what they are doing. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I would hate for anyone else to waste their time or money here. Go elsewhere.

Short version: I had highs and lows dealing with Unlimited Outdoor Kitchen. Initially I was very upset and vowed never to use them again. However, to his credit, Michael (owner) managed to turn my experience around and did what it took to ensure I was happy at the end (which I did not think would be possible). Longer versions: I spoke with Michael as I needed a grill, side burner & some access doors/drawers to fit the existing openings I had in my outdoor kitchen. It was not an easy job finding pieces to fit all the openings, but Michael did manage to find a grill that fit. I had never heard of the brand and could not find anything online about them, but it was a floor model so was available at a decent price. Michael assured me it was a good grill, so we went with it. We ordered the new, matching side burner to go with the grill, and they arrived promptly. Things were great at this point, and I was very happy with Michael so far. Things broke down after this point - I was waiting for Michael to source doors for the remainder of the openings in my outdoor kitchen and neither my calls, nor emails were not returned (2 months). I knew he would contact me eventually seeing as my bill for the grill and side burner was still outstanding. When that day finally arrived, the bill left a very sour taste in my mouth as there was a rather large miscommunication about the cost of installation. To put it politely, I was immensely annoyed, and would never be dealing with Michael or his company again. I could go into all the detail, but at the end of the day it is not necessary. Michael read a prior review I had written and contacted me immediately to make it right, which I appreciated. What I didn't expect was the lengths he would go to in order to ensure that I was happy with the outcome and his company. Customer service is king today, and therefore I would not hesitate to recommend Michael & Unlimited Outdoor Kitchen for your outdoor needs. Thanks Michael - loving the new kitchen!

In brief: - incredibly rude staff... ALL of them! - the stench in the room was unbearable. - room was unclean - bathroom visibly dirty So yes the room was dirty and stunk to high heaven, but I think you would have put up with it if the staff were nicer. I had read another review commenting about rudeness of staff, and I admit, I thought the reviewer was probably just being picky, and how bad could they possibly be. These people are something else though - they intimidate and bully you if you try to change your booking in any way (which I am sure does work - they are good!!), are completely inflexible, and make you feel as if you owe them something. I have never been pushed so far as to write a review before, but I couldn't let this one go. They really ruined what otherwise would have been an pleasant break away just because of their attitude. We arrived at this hotel around 12pm. My sister went in to see if we could: a) check-in before heading off to Yosemite, and b) change our reservation to check out a day early (we had originally planned to stay 2 nights, but since we arrived earlier than anticipated, we still had time to visit the park that day). My sister returned and informed us that we absolutely could not check in prior to 3pm (which did strike me as odd considering the place was all but deserted), and that we could not cancel our second night. She mentioned that they were incredibly rude, but I just thought it was more of a cultural thing that she was perhaps not used to. At this point, I called Expedia (who we booked with), and was told that it is up to the hotel to cancel the booking, not them. But from their point of view, there was no issue with us doing this. I went into reception this time and informed the staff that we would in fact be checking out early (only staying 1 night). The attitude was amazing - it was like they were trying to bully is into not being able to change our reservation. They repeatedly reminded me that there was nothing they could do, so I continued to remind them that I was purely letting them know as a courtesy (so they could at least open the room up for other potential bookings). I asked if there was a bathroom we could use to change clothes in, and was met with "bathrooms are for guests only". Sigh. I persisted and asked if she could make an exception considering I would have checked-in and been a guest if they allowed me to. Thankfully, she did allow us this 'favor'. We returned from our day in the park around 8pm to check-in. Shift change and new staff was on. Just when you think you have encountered the rudest person on earth, just wait. The woman said they would have to charge us for 2 nights, and there is nothing they could do about that. I refused to hand over my credit card as I did not want to be charged for 2 nights when only staying 1. Luckily the manager was on the phone to them at the same time (who I had spoken to early), and they were incredibly rude and talking about me as if I wasn't there. Finally they agreed to only charge me for 1 night. While the woman was amending our reservation she barked orders at her co-worker (e.g. 'get out of the way' - pushing her away from the computer etc). Seriously, I was wondering when the candid camera was going to come out - who acts this way in real life?! I asked if the room was a non-smoking room and once again, she was a complete bi*tch about it. I was told that it was, and there was nothing I could do about it because they were fully booked and there were no other rooms available. Firstly, I was only asking out of curiosity, and secondly, while I could never prove that they were not fully booked, the empty car park, lack of guests around, and quietness in the hallways (let alone at breakfast) told me otherwise. If you can't get accommodation anywhere else and this is your last resort to stay here, I would suggest sleeping in your car instead. At over $200 a night, you expect a shred of customer service and common courtesy.
