1972 Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 AI on a Canon EOS 50D
Finally got around to get an adapter for my Nikkor 85mm manual lens. I am now armed and ready to take some portrait shoots...
BMW M4 Coupe outside by the TSB Arena for the World of WearableArt 2014 in Wellington. I have just recently brought two brand new lenses a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 HSM OS and Canon 50mm f/1.4.
They are the first brand new camera items (body or lenses) I have brought, all of my other lenses have been second hand.
I previous been using the Canon 50mm f/1.8 which has been great, but the 50mm f/1.4 just feels so much nicer in my hands.
I'll put some shot from the Tarmon 70-200mm f/2.8 up later in the week. Hopeful....

I went and saw Neil Finn play live last Friday. It was great live gig.
The only downside for me was it was seated show.... it was until the encore that people got up and started dancing. I can't sit still at live concert.... I have to get up and dance, music just makes my body want to move.

Which is the Top Event for Downhill Mountain Biking, it is on the same

At this stage is looks like Sarah Atkin will not be racing as she has NO
bike to ride.

So please help Sarah Atkin get her bike back so she race Mountain Biking

My bag ticket numbers were BM070310 and BM070311
I contacted the baggage services people at Oslo airport, and the file reference number for that is OSLSN15728, last name ATKIN, bags were one bike bag which was black and had Torpedo7 written on it

Great to see give talk at IBM conference (I'm a IBMer) about social media.
I have been following Erik's work since late 2009 or early 2010 when I first discovered your Socialnomics: Social Media Revolution video.
I try and educate my colleagues, friends, family and others about the power of social and also the risks (my background is in IT Security) and how to effectively use social media and minimise the risks associated social media.

Is anyone in Oslo, Norway able to help delivery Sarah's Bike to her in person.

Must see film - if you enjoy powerful and inspiring dramas.
This is a Subjective Review
The film is a dark emotional film similar to Once Were Warriors, but unlike Once Were Warriors the film has a happy and upbeat ended.
This is a film heart touching for me, as I live a very similar situation to both the main characters Mana and Genesis. Almost all of my peers, friends and work colleague do not know a lot of my personally life, and will probably never know what I had to deal with growing up. Some of my peers and friends that I have built a personally relationship will know a bit, but not the whole story.
Like Mana I just took everything on the chest and just dealt with it.
I didn't ever say anything bad about my father, and I never will speak bad of him, as he was doing what he thought was the right at the time. I didn't speak up about what was happening in my home life either.
Luckily my most of my other family members, teachers, peers and sporting coaches saw the positive in me. That was what got me through most of my life.
It wasn't go out of home environment life start to become better (when I leave home and went to university.)
I have already spend more than half my life live as an adult (I'm 23 years old.)
Yes - I am very mature for my age.
I always try and see positive in people no matter who they are.
This is why I consider myself so successful in life.
It is easy to see all the bad and negative about people and point them out, but it isn't until someone sees positives of some and helps to out that a person will do well in life.
Technical Review of the film:
The lighting, colour grading and music were very well used in The Dark Horse.
The use of the dark moody lighting (small areas that were lit up), colour (dark black and blue tones) and music set the tone well of the dark and low scene. The bright lighting (sunlight), colour grading (oranges and yellows), and lighter upbeat music was also well used in the for the positive and upbeat scenes.
Over all this was a great film from story line and technical perspective. I also enjoyed the subtle humour as well.
The film is based on a true story.
