Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest differences!
Sometimes it's the smallest changes that make the biggest differences. How many of these practices are you implementing on your blog right now? Is Your Site Fully Responsive? Just because you have a responsive theme, doesn't mean every part of your site is mobile friendly. Look at the image below... This is an iPhone 6 screenshot from an article on my hair site. This right-aligned image looks great on a desktop, but it looks ugly on a mobile devi...

Still stuffing and stressing about your meta tags? Ugh. That's so 1998! :-) There is still value, though. Find out where.
I'm continuing with my theme of responding to your emails about your biggest site issues. A handful of you mentioned that you are struggling with ranking and optimizing your pages (specifically meta tags and understanding how on-page factors influence your rank). Meta tags are descriptors within your page's code. The search engines read them and also display them in the results. Some of you use plugins like Yoast or All in One SEO, and they let y...

Would YOU pay someone $20/month to see fewer ads on their site? This has got to be the strangest AdSense feature yet.
AdSense has a new feature and I reeeeeeeally don't get it. This has got to be the oddest monetization model I've seen in a while. Apparently Google believes some people hate ads so much, they'd actually pay AdSense Publishers monthly NOT to see them. This new AdSense product is called Contributor. Here's Google's official definition (source)... Contributor is a new source of revenue for your sites, funded directly by your site visitors. With Cont...

HOT OFF THE PRESS 🔥 How to Manage Twitter Like a Pro [Your Daily Twitter Routine]

Picture this…

In many ways, Twitter is not unlike projectile vomiting – a forceful and uncontrollable firehose that it is.

And managing Twitter… well, it could feel like trying to take a sip from that firehose.

Many of you dread Twitter for this reason alone, and I don’t blame you.

So, whatever shall a marketer do?

Ditch it? Out of the question, IF that’s where your target audience is.

Automate the life out of it? No siree! Might as well ditch it…

So what’s the answer to this pain-in-the-neck-that-it-is suck-you-in-n-never-spit-you-out Twitter situation?

Manage it. Put yourself on a Twitter time budget.

Here's how: http://tgcafe.it/my-twitter-routine

You'll also see what Daily Twitter Routines look like from these Twitter pros: +Larry Kim +Jeff Sieh +Mike Allton +Ann Handley +Lisa Irby +Ryan Hanley - if THEY can do it, what's left for the rest of us to do, right? ;)

Here's the link again: http://tgcafe.it/my-twitter-routine

Please share/+1 the post - I'd really appreciate it.

I love Periscope, so why don't I use it? How are YOU using it and are you tracking the bottom line?
Periscope is smoking hot right now! Bloggers and marketers are singing the praises of the budding app, and I've been asked why I haven't started live broadcasting. After all, I've had some success with YouTube, so wouldn't this live streaming video app be the next logical step for me? What's the deal? The truth is, I actually LOVE Periscope as a viewer, but haven't done any broadcasts. I made a vow to myself when it comes to jumping on

Has fear paralyzed you from starting your website? I was blown away by how many people told me they were afraid of failing.

Such a good topic, Lisa. Failing is wonderful. It's how you learn. Failing gives your brain references of what isn't working so you can move closer to what is.

+Arnold Kintu Keep up the writing. I understand your fears and doubts. I have them too. I've been writing on a blog for over 5 years now. It may be 20 years before I finally find an audience, and that's OK. Stick with it mostly for the person it will make out of you as you keep writing and trying to grow a presence.

Get out there and fail people. Get rejected. Do it for the person you become through it all. Failing is wonderful :).

I found Tim and Draper Floors after a bad experience with contractors. So I was already a bit leery of hiring someone for fear of going through that again. Tim immediately came off as someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, upfront and honest. He also went above and beyond the call of duty to provide me with free supplies to fix something previous contractors messed up. I am so happy I found my go-to company for flooring. Draper Floors has that family business feel and everyone in the store is friendly. They men who did my bathroom floor were neat, friendly, fast and cleaned up after themselves. Look no further. Hire Draper Floors for your next project with confidence. Thank you Tim!!
