The battle lines drawn are discouraging -- because on one side are those who refuse to acknowledge the courage it took for these women to speak up. Why did there have to be 8 come forward before the tide swung against him? Cause I've been there and to say reporting a sex crime is difficult doesn't even come close!!
There’s been this big scandalous ruckus about sexual freedom in Canadian media this week, and people seem to have not only drawn lines in the sand but built battlements on each side and taken up arms. Rational discussion is rare, the issue at hand has become super-charged for some reason. Part of me says live […]

Celebrated my 17th wedding anniversary on Saturday. What'd we do? Gardening. Grocery Shopping. But we did it together. Reposted the story of my disastrous honeymoon - do you have a honeymoon disaster story?
Thank goodness a disastrous honeymoon doesn't spell doom for your marriage!

I used to hate it when more experienced authors would say "write what you know." Now, I think it's brilliant advice.
That seemingly age-old writing advice used to grate on me. I wasn’t interested in writing what I knew about. How boring would that be? I’ve never been a male firefighter (yes, I have a penchant for romance), an FBI special ag...

One of the blogs I help produce. Great post! “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, there is no male or female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28 ESV). #ebolaoutbreak2014
I always try to step up and champion these kinds of projects, because it’s easy to say Ebola is happening somewhere else and forget that people are dying.
