Feeling tossed, turned, and tumbled? -->
Ever find yourself in the middle of the night tossing and turning? The more you think, the more you keep thinking, and then your brain churns out impossible scenarios of monstrous proportions. Ack! Tossed, turned, and tumbled. Fortunately, we do have weapons to combat this onslaught of onslaughting -- prayer, thankfulness, focus, and praise. A song of praise or a verse from God’s word magnifies God and minimizes any problem or issue. So next time...

Will we trust Him?
Why won’t you trust Me? My love never fails. My promises never fail. My strength, might, and power is more powerful than any other strength, might, or power. My desire is none should perish. My forgiveness forgives in abundance. My grace is sufficient. My presence is with you.

Oh how we need revival ...
Do we request revival because we want everything in our country and world to be “good”? Do we ask for revival so our life can be pleasing to us? “And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure” (James 4:3 NLT). Do we seek revival so that lives can be saved for eternity? Do we desire revival to drive us deeper into God’s heart?

Turn your eyes...
I was angry, all-out furious at what is happening in our country and world. I’m mad that my black friends are afraid. I’m mad at those who target the police because of the actions of some of the police. I’m mad that racism exists, and I’m mad at people and … Continue reading →

So grateful...
We live in difficult times. Everyone seems to be fighting battles. I wonder, have we forgotten who we are in Christ? I don’t like battles, and I get weary. I’ve got to remember we don’t battle with flesh and blood, and Satan is a defeated foe. I don’t need my … Continue reading →

Let's freely share!
As Christians, we are granted living, flowing water. “Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (John 7:38 NLT). Are we sharing what we are freely given with a thirsty, hurting world? Or are we only trickling out God’s blessings with an eye-dropper?

Your backpack is loaded up for your life journey -->
Have you ever helped a child prepare for their morning at school? You make sure their backpack has the daily provision – lunch or lunch money, books, paper, pens, pencils, homework, permission slips, maybe a Band-Aid or two for any bumps or bruises, a note for encouragement, etc.. Every day … Continue reading →

Needing rest? -->
Our world is so unsettled. Our country is so unsettled. Life is so unsettled. Everyone seems restless. Or maybe it’s just me. Ugh. Between the media and unsettling news at home, I’ve been restless. Yes, I know God is in control. I really know that, but goodness it’s hard not … Continue reading →

When you hear that whisper ...-->
Refresh Forward >>>From a sound sleep, the thought came at 4:00 in the morning. “I know what you did.” Now wide-awake, my memories of past sins attacked and left me reeling. Embarrassment and sorrow grew until I remembered, I know what He did! Jesus offered forgiveness, grace, mercy. When I ran to Him with my sins, He cleansed me and washed me white as snow. Then I remember what they did — my innocence gone and my heart and soul shredded. Yet I ...

Let's run!
Have you ever watched a cross-country race? At the starting line, people gather to cheer the bounty of runners. Yet as the journey lengthens, the well-wishers decrease and are only sporadic. Perhaps through towns there will be those who give refreshment and encouragement to the racers. However there are mountains to climb, deserts to cross, and the way gets more lonely and difficult. The pack of runners stretches out as the strong pass the weak, ...

Tip me, Lord.
Tip me Lord. Tip my heart to You. Tip my mind and soul to You. Hide Your word in my heart so deep that Your thoughts and words are on the tip of my thoughts, words, and actions. Tip me Lord fully to You.

Introduction
I'm a joyfully in love with God, Christ-follower, a happily-married writer, and mom. I'm not perfect at anything. I’ve made stupid, sinful mistakes, and often traveled down the wrong roads. God never gave up on me, never let go, and welcomed me home when I stumbled back seeking His grace.

Thanks to undiagnosed Lyme disease for six years, my medical journey could be used by several medical television shows. I've been poked, prodded, and diagnosed with way too many diseases. After an eleven year struggle, God granted healing!

I serve an awesome God who has helped me through many difficulties. There's nothing enjoyable about suffering and pain but I wouldn't change it for the world, because through it all I’ve grown closer to the God who created, formed, and loved me before I was born.
