Peace

Lord...so I got lost today & turned around & lost hope --
and You tenderly hand us back hope tonight: 'I have plans for you -- to give you a future & a hope.' (Jer.29:11)
I got wandering & it got loud in my head & my heart & I lost peace --
and You gently offer us peace tonight no matter where we are, because Peace isn't a place to arrive at, but a Person to abide in: "For I Myself am your peace... (Eph2:14a)... the Lord of Peace Himself gives [me] His peace at all times, and in every situation” (2Thess3:16)
I got disoriented in the whirl of things & lost my way --
and You take our hand in Yours & whisper: “I am the Way (Jn14:6)... Are you tired? Worn out?...Come to me. Get away with Me & I’ll show you how to take a real rest..." (Mt11:28MSG)
And with that, the day that once felt lost is now found, turned right around by found grace.

You are a survivor! Whatever you’ve gone through, you survived. You are a gladiator who has been in the ring with the lions and tigers, and you survived. There may be scars, there may be negative memories, there may be heartache and pain, but you survived. You are a warrior who survived the battle, and because you survived, you are here to point others to The One who helps us through every battle.

How many times have you heard there are some things you will never get over? What’s interesting about this statement is that whatever you are trying to get over, you’ve already gone through.

We don’t have to get over any “thing”, because no “thing” is impossible for God. That means every “thing” is possible for God to restore, redeem, heal, and renew. We either believe God or we don’t. When Jesus offers forgiveness for those who believe in His name and truly repent of their sins, they are forgiven. When Jesus says He came to heal the brokenhearted and bind their wounds, He didn’t just mean a partial healing.

I’ve been through some very nasty things, molestation, attacks, rape, being stalked, chronic illness, eight surgeries… (Watch my testimony on YouTube http://youtu.be/t8wh45HsNeo).

The memories of those situations wasn’t erased, yet I know God has healed them (and is healing them). I know my Redeemer lives and I live in my Redeemer. I know that everything I’ve been through God has equipped me to not only have gone through and survive, but to also live in a daily new life with Him.

God’s mercies are new every morning. His mercies are there when a negative memory resurfaces. His mercies tenderly heal your internal and external wounds. His mercies turn around whatever the enemy meant for evil and turn it into good.

We don’t have to just get over something, with God we go through!

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” ~ Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” ~ Psalm 23:4 (NIV)

Hi friends, I'm giving away free copies on Amazon 5/25-5/27
Wounded? Looking for Healing & Hope? No Wound Too Deep For The Deep Love Of Christ is a small book with powerful content for soul-healing. … http://amzn.to/1gDi7V8

The enemy wants you to believe your wounds are incurable and your past is unredeemable; that your pain, your sin, and your experiences are too far from God’s healing touch. The past cannot be erased, but we can take every wound to the Great Physician – God.

God loves you just as you are – wounded, battered, bruised. God loves you – your past and the hidden things no one knows. God loves you – your jagged scars that carved valleys in your soul. God loves you – and no one and nothing can keep Him from you. No person. No power on earth. No memory. No flashback. No sin. No thought. No action. Nothing can stop God from offering His healing and His everlasting, unfailing love.

The One who made you, the One who loves you with an unfailing love, He is The One who wants to heal you and The One who can heal you.

No Wound Too Deep gently beckons you to experience the deep, healing love of God.

Waiting is not easy, is often messy and seems without rhyme or reason. However I’m learning there is an art to waiting and waiting produces art. Sometimes the wait is a beautiful thing like a Rembrandt painting and other times may seem more like a Picasso.
The choice of the outcome depends on us.

If I worry, whine, and complain about the wait, the waiting is difficult and messy.

If I rest, trust, and praise God during the wait, the waiting is nice and easy. And resting, trusting, and praising God is an art mastered by remembering God’s truth.

In God’s truth we find that…

God’s timing is perfect. “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.” ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NASB)

God knows the plan. “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB)

Trusting God leads to the blessings of trust. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.” ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NASB)

Praising God brings us into the presence of God. “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” ~ Psalm 100:4 (NKJV)

Waiting on God gives us the power of God. “Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” ~ Isaiah 40:31 (NASB)

And the coolest thing God has shown me, If you live in the moment, you never have to wait.

Let’s forgive in the same way Jesus offers forgiveness.

Let’s stop whining about our wounds and instead praise our Savior who heals all wounds.

Let’s stop focusing on the past and instead look to the eternal future.

Let’s stop looking at the darkness and instead shine the light on the One who is light.

Let’s offer grace like Jesus offers grace.

Let’s love in the same way we are loved by Jesus.

Let’s live, truly live as Christians.

Let’s love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7

If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Galatians 6:10

I’m offering my book, No Wound Too Deep For The Deep Love Of Christ for Free through 5/27/15. Pick up a copy through Amazon. If you don’t have a Kindle you can read directly from your computer. http://amzn.to/1IZ67wK

Is it possible to have your innocence restored? Yes!
So many people are locked in their past. Their innocence was taken from them, or through their own bad choices, innocence was lost. Yet there is hope ...

For months I've felt the Lord stirring in my spirit to get our house ready. Three times He spoke into my spirit that we would be moving. Even though we weren't sure where God would lead, we've been getting the house ready. On May 20th my sweet husband was blessed with a job. Today, May 21st we listed the house with a Realtor. God’s gentle prodding prepared us and the house to be ready for God’s direction.

Keep your ears and heart tender to hear God’s gentle voice. Prepare yourself physically and spiritually so when God says to take those next steps, that you are ready for the next steps.

Several years ago when when our family visited the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center I was amazed at the life-sized dioramas recreating the journey.

I am absolutely awe-struck at those who ventured across endless, dry, hot prairie, over mountains and treacherous rivers. The numbers of travelers are estimated between 200,000 and 500,000, and ruts from wagon wheels remain in the landscape. The trail marked by graves and heartache.

Can you imagine traveling six months without gas stations, coffee shops, restaurants and a hotel? Plus, no facilities for us prim and proper ladies. Ack! Gasp, wheeze …

Letters recorded what they packed often resulted in life or death. Cook stoves, silver, china, even pianos, littered the landscape as travelers left behind non-essential belongings. I don’t think my computer or cell phone would have made it very far. Makes me shudder.

Thank goodness I don’t have to travel the Oregon Trail, but it sure makes me wonder–am I holding on to things that will drag me down or hinder my journey? Let’s make sure we throw aside anything that holds us back from running the race God has giving us to run.

“… let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us.” ~Hebrews 12:1 (AMP)

Let’s make sure we throw aside anything that holds us back from running the race God has giving us to run. Be ready to be ready when God says to get your wagons moving!

Introduction
I'm a joyfully in love with God, Christ-follower, a happily-married writer, and mom. I'm not perfect at anything. I’ve made stupid, sinful mistakes, and often traveled down the wrong roads. God never gave up on me, never let go, and welcomed me home when I stumbled back seeking His grace.

Thanks to undiagnosed Lyme disease for six years, my medical journey could be used by several medical television shows. I've been poked, prodded, and diagnosed with way too many diseases. After an eleven year struggle, God granted healing!

I serve an awesome God who has helped me through many difficulties including, molestation by a baby-sitter, assault, rape, divorce, cancer, death of loved ones, seven surgeries, and chronic illness.

There's nothing enjoyable about suffering and pain but I wouldn't change it for the world, because through it all I’ve grown closer to the God who created, formed, and loved me before I was born.
