For the last few days, with only one tab running, and nothing else running, even if I restart my pc, Chrome dies. What is the deal? I can barely get anything done without resorting to Firefox. This is on either pc, and the chromebook as well.

Refreshing campaign promise...

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) upped the ante in the Democratic primary today by promises to only nominate Supreme Court justices who will overturn Citizens United during an interview on CBS's Face The Nation.

"Crocodile boy"
A young boy of the Yatmui tribe with a crocodile in Mumeri Village in the Black Water Lakes, Papua New Guinea.
The people here hunt large crocodiles for food and raise small ones until they are large enough to harvest for their meat and skins.

Yacht racing...
So: the technical reason we started counting arrays at zero is that in the mid-1960’s, you could shave a few cycles off of a program’s compilation time on an IBM 7094. The social reason is that we had to save every cycle we could, because if the job didn’t finish fast it might not finish at all and you never know when you’re getting bumped off the hardware because the President of IBM just called and fuck your thesis, it’s yacht-racing time.
P.Y. Laligand originally shared to Geeky stuff:

On the origins of 0-based programming languages.
Sometimes somebody says something to me, like a whisper of a hint of an echo of something half-forgotten, and it lands on me like an invocation. The mania sets in, and it isn't enough to believe; I have to know. I've spent far more effort than is sensible this month crawling down a rabbit hole ...

it takes away from the purpose of using one of the balls as a chair. the point of it is that it requires a constant balance to prevent rolling.

Introduction
Astrophysicist Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson was asked by a reader of TIME magazine, "What is the most astounding fact you can share with us about the Universe?" This is his answerhttp://youtu.be/9D05ej8u-gU

Interested in Art History, especially Post-Modernism but anything since the Industrial Revolution. Very eclectic interests and collection of music, also film.
Supporter of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

I really like the aesthetic of film. As such, you will sometimes see sloppy borders on my images - that is a real artifact of printing from film, using a filed negative carrier. I've done a handful of alternative and experimental techniques, including laser holography.

I also know a bit about Horticulture.
I've done a bit of silversmithing.

And a few other things.
Guess that makes me a polymath.

Oh, and I have an irreverent streak.
I am liable to post whatever strikes my fancy.
