Ruhstaller Beer in Sacramento is challenging the notion that local beer simply should be brewed locally, by actually brewing their own hops. All of Ruhstaller's offerings utilize Sacramento grown hops that add a unique level of richness to their beers. Ruhstaller's founder, J.E. Paino, took us on a tour of the Ruhstaller Farm & Yard and explained to us the familiarity and understanding with beer ingredients the brewery has found with all they grow.

SF brewery, Speakeasy, kicked off it's 17th year in business with special one-off brewed beers and local food pop-ups. The brewery's Harvey Milk Stout and Blind Tiger IPA were among the special releases for the party.

Demand for Coronado Brewing Co. in the Bay Area is at an all-time high for the company. Their tap takeovers at local bars have been featuring their flagship brews, as well as some rare ones previously only available at their Coronado taproom.

Coronado Brewing has been making their way through the Bay Area, taking over the taps at bars in SF and Oakland, and tapping some pretty rare releases. The Beechy Keen smoked stout and Biggy Smalls session IPA were featured at Garaje last Tuesday.

Very excited to say we're covering Speakeasy's 17th Anniversary on Saturday, June 28th. Looking forward to pairing their new Syndicate No. 02 and Untouchable IPA with a Wes Burger.
